Says it closes at 5pm, walk up at 4pm on a sunny summers day and its closed, dont waste your time with local places that dont want your money. I had to shop at Tescos for lunch. I won't bother next time and just go straight to Tesco. Thank you Tesco for a good service, local shops should take a leaf out of Tescos book if you want to run a good business. Tesco is open until 11pm if you want to shop local.

We recently visited Mundesley but didnt get the opportunity to eat here as it was closed for quite a few days during our visit. My husband did pop in for coffee's one day and said the woman behind the counter was quite rude to him demanding he pay for some peanut brittle (that they don't sell!) that he has bought in the shop next door.

Lovely family run business by looks of it, all of us were very impressed with the friendly and welcoming service and we all throughly enjoyed our food too.

Food below average , cash only restaurant stuck in its ways . Views are good .

Our sons requires a gluten free diet, the staff were very accommodating. The roast beef lunch was so tasty, like a little piece of home.

This looks more like a seaside cafe than a restaurant. They do serve a very nice Sunday roast here, but it isn't the place you would go for a restaurant type meal. It is a good cafe though. Visited a few times now and never regretted our visit. Welcome refreshments after a day on the beach or a long walk.

Jonet's is our regular haunt when we cycle up to Mundsley. Never tried the hot food but the cakes (especially the Paradise Slice!) are superb. Staff are always pleasant and friendly.

Appalling place, please do not go! We paid Ā£18.10 for 2 breakfasts and drinks, but when the breakfasts arrived they were covered in lots of nearly orange (old) foul tasting grease and it was very poor quality (e.g. cheap bready catering sausages). We did not eat them because of this and the fact there were flies buzzing around our food from the second it hit the table. Furthermore, there was bits of dried dishwasher soap left on our mugs. We told the lady at the till and eventually the owner that we were not happy with the quality or preparation of our breakfasts, and although we were polite and reasonable (we actually said we would pay for the drinks but would like a refund on the food) they refused and laughed at us. They said they had cooked the food as normal, and were very rude, even to my clearly pregnant other half. At one point the owner simply told us to ātake it furtherā and to āask the gentleman behind what his was likeā as they had served 10 breakfasts that day. This was the most unfriendly and unprofessional service I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. I will be ātaking it furtherā with North Norfolk Councils Trading Standards using the receipt that the owner signed stating āNo Refund- Food Cooked As Normalā and the video we have of her refusing a refund and being rude.

I've been going there for years, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the cafe is basic but squeaky clean (it can get a little chilly in the winter) and the food is always gorgeous, mostly all home made and piping hot. Try the Sunday Roast with loads of fresh veg. They do a large range of snacks, cakes and drinks (no alcohol) and you can even bring your dog in although you need to sit in the seats nearest the door.Check the closing times during the winter, though, as it's not open every day.
