I had the absolutely best poached eggs ever on the most gorgeous granary bread today. It was our first visit to Hatters Tea Shop in Cromer today, and what a lovely, well presented tea shop it is. The staff here are so very friendly and extremely polite and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome and were not hurried out in any way. Especially as there were people queueing for tables. Our custom was made to feel uniquely important. All their food and cakes looked absolutely amazing. We will certainly revisit on our next trip to Cromer. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service and the incredible poached eggs on toast!! My husband really enjoyed his bacon and egg sandwich, too!! It was all so lovely. We highly recommend the Hatters Tea Room.

We went here yesterday for breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming staff, lovely and spacious tea rooms, with very pretty decor. Dogs welcomed. Food and coffee was delicious. Quick service. Clean toilets. Thought it was expensive for what we had, but so is everywhere in Norfolk.

A traditional tea room with excellent service and fresh homemade cakes. The scones were warm and fresh out of the oven. The toasted teacakes were great and the cakes were excellent. Would visit again when visiting Cromer.

Amazing afternoon tea with friends. Need to pre book a table for afternoon tea. We ended up having a nice bottle of prosecco as well, because they have so nice drink collection as well. Highly recommend it to everyone.

Very nice dog friendly tea shop. Good choice on the menu, we had tuna sandwiches, lovely bread! Cakes looked delicious! Service was good, very welcoming, friendly staff. Will certainly return when in Cromer!

Off the beaten track and therefore usually slightly quieter than the main Cromer routes. An absolute gem. Fantastic sandwiches and light lunches. Great tea. And still the best scones we've had in Norfolk, light, warm and perfectly sized. If you're in the area make sure you give it a try. If you want the full afternoon tea make sure you ring ahead and book in advance.
