Whilst staying in Sherringham, Marmalade was recommended as a must visit place to catch a bit to eat so we booked. The venue is very inviting and has some very unique lighting, which is adds to the ambiance. The staff are friendly and do their upmost to make you feel at home. The menu is an interesting mix of curiosity and excitement. We went with mushrooms and the Duck spring rolls. I'm told the mushrooms were delicious and my duck dish was good and, would've been great had the carrot & orange chutney delivered a bigger punch. On to mains... I always say it's a good sign whe everyone chooses a different dish 🙌🏽. The pork belly n chorizo was nice, the stuffed chicken breast was good and the slow cooked lamb the winner, sadly leaving no room for dessert. Would've given ⭐⭐⭐⭐ but for some small things like, only 1 WC and our waitress not pouring the 1st drink on a bottle of fizz. I think the bill for 3 of us was around the £120 mark. This place has real potential to be that sparkling diamond and is well worth the visit but be sure to book else you'll find that they are full.

We found this place randomly. The food was divine and there was attention to detail. Staff were polite and friendly. We couldn't fault anything. It was so good we were back two days later.

Great meal on Saturday evening, 28th, the steak was tasty, cooked perfectly and the chips were the best I have had for a long while, crispy and the right size!! Non of those chunky soft sort that they seem to serve at many places. Hake was beautiful and tasty as were the starters, soup and crab. A most enjoyable meal and the staff were great too.

I rarely ever leave reviews but the meal we just had at Marmalade’s was the best I’ve had in years. Friendly service reasonably priced and the lamb main course was exquisite. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Nice food with generous portion. Everything is freshly made including the kid's pasta. Let down a bit by the decor

Had a great meal here last night. Good to see it was so well used on a Wednesday evening. Wonderful food, lovely service. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks Ian & Sarah. I'm sure we'll be back.

Wonderful bistro in Sheringham and the best meal we had out over 7 nights in Norfolk. We thought it was very reasonably priced for the quality of the food, certainly heads and tails above the places we visited in Thornham which cost considerably more. I wouldn't usually take a photo of soup but this was a butternut, chilli and chocolate soup and the best soup I've ever had in my life...and I've tried a lot of homemade weird and wonderful combos! Mains were superb. Meat was tender, perfectly cooked and everything was super tasty. Prob the best duck I've had too. Service was really lovely. Attentive but not overly. We enjoyed a local lager and a bottle of Shiraz too.

Probably, to my mind, the best restaurant in Sherringham. Really great food in sensible portions enabling a balanced 3 course meal. Convivial atmosphere and staff super friendly, good humoured and efficient. Very good menu selections and had trouble deciding which to order, which was a treat in itself. Possibly a fraction overpriced but soon lost that thought when enjoying the meal and evening.
