Masala Twist in North Norfolk

Excellent meal, freshly cooked. Very tasty and generous starter of Prawn puree, followed by Chicken dhansak and the lightest and fluffiest nan bread that I have had in years. All excellent and friendly efficient staff. Only here a couple of days but tempted to go back already.

No restaurants serving food today after 7:30pm in Cromer, so we went to the Masala Twist. Which was very good - we had a very nice meal. The chicken tikka buhna was all breast meat that had been marinated (rather than the rubbery mechanically reclaimed chicken painted with red dye in many Indian restaurants)The food arrived promptly and the waitress was very pleasant and helpful.Recommended.

Little bit of a disappointing meal. My wife's chicken was overcooked and rubbery (I tried it and it definitely was). My curry was a bit too mild and not enough sauce. Maybe I picked the wrong thing. The chicken was OK though. Thought the service a bit disappointing too, although the food came quickly.

Absolutely fabulous food. Having come from a town with over 30 Indian restaurants, this exceeds them all. Amazing highly recommend.

We ordered for a take away delivery. Money was taken and good was not delivered. We called to check and we were told quite a few times that food will be delivered in 5 minutes. We never got the food. We called the restaurant and the owner of the restaurant was swearing and tried to intimidate us. He also threatened to us. It was very unusual and never happened to me before. I personally fell that the owner is a fraud and stole our money. We checked the hygiene rating from council and found out it was 2. When I saw so bad hygiene rating I felt like it was good that we did not get the delivery. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Lovely meal out, food was amazing. The staff were kind and friendly. Will definitely be eating here again either in or as takeaway.

Arrived 9:30 (late for us) but were greeted with a smile. The food was excellent. Hot, prompt and tasty. One more tablespoon of rice would have put this review to 5 stars. Will definitely be back.

We visited last night, whilst on a family break in East Runton. The whole evening was absolutely amazing. Despite having not booked, we walked into an apparently short staffed but almost full restaurant and couldn’t have been treated better. (I say ‘apparently’ as aside from seeing the waitress/owner literally running from table to table, you really wouldn’t have known they were short staffed). We were informed of possible delays in the food due to the staff shortage, but I have to say the service was very prompt, and exemplary. The meal itself was one of the best Indian meals I have had the pleasure of devouring! and the owners couldn’t have been more welcoming, finishing our evening with a lovely, friendly chat over some gorgeous raspberry Bacardi shots, 😉. In future, no trip to East Runton will be complete without a meal at Masala Twist, not to mention that only actually living 30miles away it will now be our ‘go to’ restaurant for an Indian meal.Thank you both for a fantastic evening, both the atmosphere and the food.

Great meal for four. Service was attentive but not intrusive and the owner recommended a main off the specialties - superb. Best Indian had for a long while.

Delicious meal in comfortable surroundings. All the staff were pleasant and chatty. We will most definitely return. If anyone wants a great authentic Indian meal then this is the place to go.
