Morston Hall is a wonderful place the house and surrounds are beautiful, but we went for afternoon tea on Good Friday 2022, and we thought was poor for what you pay, champagne for two, not a cheap price for what you got, sandwiches aquiverlant to one sandwich each, which comprises of four finger sandwiches with different fillings, one fruit scone and one plain scone each, and four bite size mixed little cakes each, with a glass of champagne each on one cake stand price £92. Yet three years ago we came again, but we had two cake stands with the same things. There was lack of staff popping in every now and then and asking if everything was okay, it would of been nice to have a cup of tea to accompany cakes, but we had to wait when someone popped in, all in all we were quite disappointed considering the reputation they have, we've been for a evening meal and a one night stay in the passed and it was faultless.

A very special 7 course tasting meal at this beautiful restaurant. A warm welcome from the staff. Each course presented was like a painting. Would love to visit again one day.

I had been looking forward to our visit to Morston Hall for a long time and it did not disappoint. On the edge of beautiful national trust coastline we started our stay with a long walk. The room was lovely with all the touches you needed. The bathroom was well appointed (but I'm not sure it needed the TV!). We had drinks to start in the cosy lounge then our dinner in the conservatory, which was a beautiful room. There was a brilliantly accessible 4 page wine list. A real treat as usually these are too long. Service was helpful. The food was traditional but inventive, using seasonal ingredients. Sourcing seemed responsible with much from the UK but not obviously local ro the area (from the menu). It was a tasting menu and very enjoyable. Highlights were the asparagus and fish courses. The desserts were incredible. Do visit.

Food is exceptional. Service is first class, the staff are attentive but not stuffy. Room was huge and exceptionally clean. Gardens are beautifully maintained. Rooms are looking a little dated now but are clean, warm, quiet and comfortable.

Fine dining and overnight stay for my wife's 40th birthday treat. 7 course taster menu of the highest quality. Certainly worth a visit for that special treat.

We had a marvellous weekend at Morston Hall, the room was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated it had a relaxing and cosy vibe, I enjoyed spending time in the room. Our breakfast was beautifully made and I looked forward to it the following morning. Both evenings we had a different seven course taster menu which really exceeded already high expectations, the food was absolutely amazing. On the Sunday evening Galton came out to greet guests which was an unexpected suprise. I look forward to visiting again in future.

So tasty! We came in for lunch. Excellent service and cuisine. A relaxed and enjoyable setting. My dish was Park Slope, and my husband's dish was Revenge with a side salad. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was also on the menu. We'd dine there again if we were in the neighborhood. We had just returned from a week-long vacation in Hilton Head. This was one of the most delicious dinners I'd had all week! This is an excellent service, and I highly recommend it.

A real treat for my birthday, with an individual cake at the end. The taster menu was well balanced. My favourite was the Yorkshire duck. Excellent service and an opportunity to chat with the chef. Nobody could ask for more.

My husband and I chose to celebrate our first wedding anniversary at Morston Hall and chose the dine and dream option. Our experience at Morston Hall was very special and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and had everything you could need! Our only slight issue with the room was the pillows, we found them very flat and small, especially considering the size of the bed. It would have been nice if there had been some extra, larger pillows in the wardrobe. Otherwise, no issues at all.The dinner part of our stay was definitely the highlight. We've never eaten food like that and the whole experience was just amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful and informative and the food itself was incredible. We would love to come back again to see what is on the menu next time!Definitely an experience to remember.

I've now learnt the difference between a nice dinner and fine dining!I had the taster menu with 7 courses, the price may seem expensive but the food was the best I have ever tasted and the waiting staff attended to every detail of the evening, I have never felt so looked after in a restaurant.Absolutely amazing night and I will definitely be visiting again.
