Nelson Head in North Norfolk

One of the best pubs in East Anglia! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There’s a great selection of drinks too. The food is also excellent and they have a couple of vegan options which is great. The beer garden is spectacular, so serene and it’s so lovely being surrounded by nature. 100% worth a visit!

Filled baked potatoes are tasty and good value for money. Nelson burger a bit plain for my taste and pastry on pie was a dry disappointment. If review was only based on pie would have given 2 stars out of 5. Friendly staff, big range of beer and cider. Big outside space

Lovely pub with very tasty food. Very pleasant staff. You will need to book to make sure you can get a table for food. My fish and chips and Eton mess were delicious, my husband had the crab salad and ice cream, which he also enjoyed.

Wow, I was served by the family and it felt like home despite the fish and chips was much better than I expected. I hope my wife is not reading it. I have never had fish and chips at home. The parking was good, I ve heard one of coaches parked there before me and has not even in the pub or paid for parking. So I made sure all my guests not only visited toilets but has drinks and ordered food.So hope you have a sense of humour and I still can park near ;)

Hearty food, cozy pub, friendly vibe. Gets busy at lunch. Good generous portions on the food. Beers on tap but also a great place for cider enthusiasts- lots of small batch interesting flavors plus traditional types. Dog friendly. Cute courtyard outside though it was raining when we were out.

Very random little place that oozes country pub charm. Had about 20 ciders and 10 beers on cask and very generous lunches.

What a gem! Called in a cold Winter's afternoon to find a welcoming log fire to warm our bones. A warm welcome too. Food very, very good - including proper, home-cooked chips! We got the impression that not very much has changed here for a very long time - because somebody thought what they had was pretty near perfect and cared enough to keep it 'just so'. Like stepping into a pub from a Giles cartoon. Thank you! Highly recommended.

Our friend booked a meal for a large group for Sunday night here and i have to say that i appreciated all the staff for what they were able to do for us, the food was great and aesthetically the pub itself is pretty amazing on the inside! Would highly recommend and will continue to come back

World class, traditional pub. Our party consisted of 5 adults, 2 children and a dog. We were all made welcomeThe beer selection is incredible and I was spoilt for choice.The food is top notch. Great flavour and good value. I had the home made sausages which I would definitely recommend.The pub is also in walking distance of the seals.

Food was excellent, highly recommend the fish and chips and Nachos. Excellent service with very friendly and polite staff. Beautiful big garden which is perfect for a warm Summers day. Highly recommend.
