New Sage in North Norfolk

Just had a meal from here, absolutely horrific!£37 down the drainWe orderedChop Kam a la China ( a dish with duck, chicken, roast pork, vegetables and cashew nuts) all there was in this dish was vegetables and some white cubed meat ( looked absolutely disgusting)Thai mixed meat spring rollsNo meat at all in these!Chow mein, the beef had absolutely no flavourThe spicy and chilli chips were greasy and not spicy at allCrispy shredded beef was soggyDon't waste your money here, coming from up north the standards are set high, more than welcome to ​come and try a real Chinese takeaway

Treated ourselves to a nice little break away and found this quite by chance. Visited twice and cannot fault it at all. Staff are courteous and polite, food was ordered with minimal waiting time and was quite phenomenal.Over the 2 visits we ordered the veg spring rolls, chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, the gang-dang and panang curries. The portion size was adequate, could have even shared the curries with rice. Not too spicy but with just enough kick. The prawn crackers were also a delight.Would recommend it wholeheartedly, the only shame is that there is not one local to where i live.

My family have been coming here for years and it never fails to impress. Consistently high quality, delicious food, prepared quickly. Their Covid measures are impressive too!

We had a really lovely meal from New Sage while staying in Mundesley. As a family we have high standards for Chinese food! It was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend.

The best Chinese restaurant I've ever experienced! The food here is not salty like most, and also a good selection. Usually very fast, friendly service too

Have recently moved to Mundesley and had 2 takeaways from here. All the food is delicious, well cooked and hot. The guys taking the orders are great but best of all....the Mongolian crispy lamb! Very few Chinese restaurants make it, and so often it is tough and dry - this was perfect, melt in your mouth soft, the right sauce (not plum) totally yummmmmm.

Have been coming here for years but I'm afraid not anymore.Crispy beef with no actual beef just deep fried batter hardly any sauce. Portions so small, no cashews in one of the dishes and 3 mushroom slices in the mushroom curry just a tray of slop. Seriously do better going to Morrisins for a Chinese.

The empty car park as we turned up on a Friday evening should have been a clue! Portions very small. Undercooked noodles. Horrible meat and fish. Tasteless dish overall. Best bit of our meal was the prawn crackers. Wouldn't recommend at all. Expensive meal, not good value, and prob the worst tasting Chinese I've ever had.

So so annoying, had various dishes ordered, spent a fair amount, collected the meals and discovered as we were dishing out a most important part of one of the meals, sweet and sour chicken balls, with no sweet and sour sauce, complained and was told to come and collect sauce, we didn't as the rest of the meals were already dished up, then told we could have chicken balls next time, are they kidding, no customer service, I wouldn't recommend or use again. Moral of the story, check your order before leaving the shop.

Good variety of food for choice, always quick and professional. Recently some of the portions weren't great if i'm honest, especially compared to other Chinese's in the area, however this has only happened a few times. Might be a one off occasion. Still tasted great
