A quirky tearoom based on a WWII 1940's theme. The decor is fitting and quite clever and there's a really nice gift shop outside along with a replica 'unexploded' bomb exhibit! I think some 1940's music would have been great in the background. The food wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad either, however the service was quite slow. I would definitely revisit in the future though.

Had a belated birthday treat here with my friend last week. What a little gem this place is, with lots of memorabilia of the war years. Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic place! Tasty food and outstanding atmosphere. Darren has been telling us many amazing stories. Poppylands Tearoom is definitely the place worth another visit to explore more!!!

Myself mom and sister visited on our holiday last week and we enjoyed homemade sausage roll inside the lovely decorated tearoom full of nostalgia, and brought from the lovely shop there, wished I lived nearer to visit more😋👌loved the airman tea cosy aswell with my cuppa, even brought a lamb tea cosy for myself from shop😄🐑

Great cafe with delicious food and drinks. Inside there is lots of collected items from wartime so it's even a bit of a history lesson. There is a great little shop with lots of gifts and souvenirs. The service is quick with friendly staff. Definitely take a visit if you're nearby!

What a find! We happened across this place and we're SO glad we did. Absolutely fantastic in every way. Incredibly reasonable prices for excellent food, wonderful happy and friendly staff, and the decor is just brilliant. We had the best time here.

Excellent WW2 themed tearoom with lovely touches about ration books and other memorabilia from that era. Food was very good and quite reasonable. Staff were charming and very welcoming and it's dog friendly too. We loved it and will be back soon for the Queen's Jubilee

A fun place especially for those who remember things like spam…. The edible sort. We had cheese and spam toasties with chunky chips, dandelion and burdock and local cider. Very Dads Army. World war 2 theme. We sat outside but there was plants of indoor seating.

Lovely unique 40s cafe. Loads of memorabilia from the war. Reasonably priced, menu is made up like a ration book, well worth a visit

Do book because although it's miles from anywhere (beautiful countryside and views), it is really popular. The place is a living 40s museum and has so much character and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the menu was funny and the right sort of food (and prices). The food was excellent and there is a little gift shop outside which had so many things to buy. So much to look at inside and out we will definitely come back.
