Met friends for lunch and we were so impressed. We absolutely loved the food and found it hard to decide what to have as we fancied it all! Sculthorpe Mill has such a charming setting and all the staff were so helpful and friendly and really did all they could to ensure we had a good time. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful settings, we dined outside, in very pleasant atmosphere. It was Jubilee BBQ, super tasty. The lady who served us, was super helpful and suggested we try the turtles all the way beer. OMG! It was super delicious. We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it was one of the happiest and prettiest accidents that day.

My partner and me have had lunch and dinner at Sculthorpe Mill quite a few times.Since the new owners opened, I can't believe the change to the place.... atmosphere, decor, food. All such a massive improvement.A great vibe with the staff. Food's absolutely top end.The location plays a fanfastically important supporting role, the view to the front draws you in to this listed building. There's also extensive seating to the remodelled rear gardens. Fabulous. Can't speak too highly of the sisters, Siobhan and Caitriona, they had a vision and ran with it. If you're ever in the Fakenham area, this truly is a destination visit.

Great location, nice bar. Called ahead around 4.15pm, was told yes, we're serving food. Arrived at Sculthorpe Mill 4.30pm, asked for menus and was told restaurant opening 5pm. Went to order at bar, we were told food not served until 6pm. Finished our drinks and left.

Lovely place. The garden at the back by the river is so peaceful, with lots of seating. The menu looked good too, although we only came for coffee and drinks on this occasion. We had a homemade sausage roll as a snack and it was delicious. We had a quick chat with the chef who was in the main area at the time and he was great. So friendly. Also has a lovely area at the front with tables. Will definitely be back.

It's an old water mill and the stream still runs under the building. In fact it runs on both sides of the really pretty garden at the back of the pub. Out front, there's a table down by the mill race which is really lovely where you can sit and listen to the water and the birds. The pub has recently been refurbished which makes it a better (and more expensive) place to eat. Service is pretty good given the miles that waiting staff have to travel to get to the tables in the garden. But it's not a place to come for a quick bite. No sandwiches at lunchtime and the all-day menu is geared to those who want a big plateful. Upstairs, the restaurant is nice but dark and the floors are uneven so you'd better watch your head. Good for a sit in the garden on a sunny day, but often crowded.

Slightly on the pricey side but the food was delicious, particularly the vegetarian dishes, although the burger was also one if the tastiest I've ever had. In fact, although it sounds strange, the food tasted even better than the menu description suggested. The ambience was great as was the friendly and attentive service. Will definitely go there again.

One word to describe this restaurant: beautiful. The food was delicious and we especially liked the tasty non alcoholic cocktails. Thank you to the staff for giving us a lovely evening!

We were served by the lovely Bianca (7/4/22) We had only called in for a light lunch but it has more of an À la carte menu now ..but decided to stay as she was so welcoming xx & the meal was delicious and to top it all, we had a seat by the window with a beautiful riverside view, thank you!

The Sculthorpe Mill and its surroundings are a perfect setting for afternoon food and drinks. We had a family birthday meal here today and it was absolutely fantastic. Being greeted at the door and shown to our table by the owner, where the restaurant staff took over with such a delightful manner and with local produce on the menu, what could go wrong? Nothing! Our food was amazing. We all had a wonderful time, perfectly attended by the super friendly staff, who could ask for more. I particularly liked the interior decoration and low lighting, it created a very cozy, warm atmosphere.
