Shambles Cafe Bar Bistro in North Norfolk

Brilliant dinner here last week. Food was great along with cosy but stylish setting and really friendly staff.

Cycling around Norfolk and happened upon this venue in N Walsham while looking for lunch. You always take a chance with somewhere you don’t know but this worked out fab. Great food and a lovely team front and back of house. The chicken wrap was immense and my chum had a GF pizza which he rated high. Pot of tea with tea leaves stewing in the lid, very different from the norm. Ignore the roadworks, they will end soon. If you are out that way make a note, I bet breakfast is excellent. Ian

My cousin and I have just spent a lovely hour or so catching up in the very comfortable and welcoming surroundings of this venue. Added to that was the delicious Eggs Benedict and coffee. Just perfect. Thank you xx

Questionable decor and appearance from outside. Suggests a bistro or o dodgy café but food was lovely, actually a great restaurant level. The Chefmust be a star of Norfolk. Great to know that we have something that good in North Norfolk! 😘🤩 Stable tables, settee covered with cushions but not comfortable.Staff are great and definitely know what they are doing, desserts on display looked awesome but no space in me to fit them in…(next time).Good menu and great delivery.Thank you, I will definitely come back regularly.

Can only say, must have hit the place on a bad day,Everything I shared with you on here I had also spoken with our waitress about, burnt bacon, under cooked eggs, and a soda bread to break teeth, having waited for everything to be fresh cooked, it made the meal somewhat a disappointment. Awesome place for breakfast. Very good quality. Not greasy. Place is well worth a visit.Dinner looked good but didnt try. Can also get a beer too.Great special baked beans. Good work guys.

Delicious food! Highly recommend the aubergine and the baked feta but everything we had was gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and were really good with our little girl. Comfy and nicely decorated, it has a lovely atmosphere. We will make sure we come back next time we're in the area! And next time I won't be pregnant, so look forward to trying some of those amazing looking cocktails!

What an absolute delight.Me and my wife were on our honeymoon in the local area and were gutted that it wasn't open.I am so pleased I managed to get in on Saturday and I can not wait to visit again with her in the future.The food, the staff, the atmosphere, everything was just fantastic. there were 5 of us eating having lunch and there wasn't a crumb left. The food was fantastic!The coffee after the meal was exceptional!Can't wait to visit again to try more of the menu!100% recommend! Can't wait to come back! Already planning a cycle ride back!
