Taste of India in North Norfolk

Easily the most disappointing Indian food I have had. The butter chicken was basically as if someone melted a knob of butter into sweet cream corn and squash soup, then added a quarter cup of sugar. The biryani was dry with overcooked meat. The saag paneer was vinegary. The vegetable curry was bland. The naan bread was dry and strangely sweet. No cheese to be properly identified on the garlic cheese naan. And the pilau rice was plain rice with a confusing confetti of coloured rice mixed in. Very disappointing, personally cannot recommend.

Great local take away. Friendly staff and tasty food.

We had an amazing takeaway meal last night. Our Naga Tikka Massala was incredibly tasty and very well spiced. Vegetables dishes were a great addition and the garlic nan was light and fuffy. Thank you!

I eat Indian often and all over the country. The meal I received from here was one of, of not the best I have ever had. Keep up the awesome guys and have a great 2022.

Very recently been taken over. Furniture very tatty. Service pleasant and efficient. Not a tasty as it smells.

Food was delicious.So good that I forgot to take photos.The menu was varied and offered a good selection.Service was great.Restaurant was busy but not crowded.Have been before and will do so again on my next trip to Holt.Can't wait.

Called in without a booking last night, was made very welcome by all the staff. The food was delicious! Made a booking for the following night. Returned tonight, the food was Superb even better than the previous night!!! Despite being rushed off his feet due to staff shortage, Koyer found time to come out from the kitchen to have a chat & thank us for our custom.I would highly recommend & will certainly look forward to my next visit.Thank you Koyer for your warm welcome & superb food! We clearly must've picked an off day because from reading other reviews, our takeaway was unbelievably disappointing, and nothing like what others have described. Vegetable kashmiri & veg rice contained, what I'd describe as a bag of supermarket savers frozen veg (cubed carrots & peas) a couple of chunks of potato and I think they'd run out if cream. Chicken Bhuna was pretty tasteless, didn't seem fresh and cubed frozen chicken we assumed. Didn't enjoy at all and binned quite a bit of it. The best bit was the naan which was delicious. Sorry. (This was from a couple of weeks ago, not today).
