The Aldborough Black Boys in North Norfolk

The Aldborough Black Boys is a well known (Famous) pub on the Green (Cricket Pitch).I had a really pleasant experience in the Black Boys today the sun was out, it was hot.A nice cool OJ and Lemonade with ice was the order of the day.No Cricket on the green today but I hear the local team is very good.The landlady was very nice as was the other lady behind the bar.We didn't try any food today but on previous occasions working outside the aroma of steak and ale pie cooking has almost been too much.It's a very nice Pub and well worth the visit, thank you to all that made us feel most welcome.

Just had Sunday lunch here. Roast dinners were excellent. Very friendly staff in historical old village. Quaint!

Great food, lovely people and a beautiful little village

Friendly, welcoming staff, great service and excellent food. With extra space now that the newly refurbished upstairs dining area has reopened, we shall be calling again soon!

After our countryside walk with friends we had lunch at the Black Boys, this was our first time and hope to go again.A real typical country pub, clean.bright and looking fresh.Very good selection from the menu all at reasonable prices, food was very good and the staff were friendly and polite.Would highly recommend.

It was great! The service was very nice, one of the waiters (Jason I think their name was) was serving our table. They were very nice and friendly. I liked all the food, my friend said that the steak was some of the best steak they've tasted in a restaurant.

Great little pub in a lovely location with good beer and friendly service.

This pub was a "must" visit on our cycle route as an ancestor of my wife ran the pub in the 1890's.Fantastic view of a picture postcard English village from the outdoor seating.Friendly member of staff and the drink prices were ok.Will have to come back and watch a cricket match on the village green!
