Nice enough pub apart from one of my favourite beers was off when there otherwise ok.

Lovely pub for a drink and great food for all the family with very good service.

Stopped here after seal trip. The pub was really busy but the staff were working very hard to get everyone served. Delicious food and really lovely service. Would recommend!

Food was nice enough, and the staff were friendly, but the pub itself was cold & soulless, no atmosphere or warmth, which meant the overall dining experience was not great, and felt like very poor VFM overall.

A lovely pub with friendly staff! The cosy log fire made for a very pleasant environment. The food we had was delicious, both from the main menu and the specials board, and our meals and drinks were served promptly. I only knock a star off because a) it took over 10 minutes for our bill to arrive, and b) during poor weather like Storm Arwen yesterday a front door to the pub that requires a special technique to fully close (that evaded even some of the regulars) lessened our overall experience.

Always great food and friendly staff. Dog friendly with water bowls dotted about for four legged friends. Great for either lunch or dinner. Always best to book in advance but they accommodated walk-ins when visiting in early September, we couldn't get a table for love nor money during school holidays! We live just down the road and visit at least once a month.

The best option to dine coming back from the seal trip. The cozy restaurant serves daily special seafood. Would highly recommend twice baked cheese soufflé as well. Nice staff, artistic decoration of paintings and excellent sanitation.

I was disappointed with what I chose. Fried squid served in a small tapas dish (was like eating shoe leather) to start and Hake (tiny thin tail piece) to follow. Both portions were really small, a shame to dirty the plate. I left feeling hungry. Won't be going back. The roast looked ok, my companions said, it was ok.
