The Banningham Crown in North Norfolk

Excellent food and a homely atmosphere 10/10

Super restaurant, beautiful food and good prices. The staff were brilliant and always smiling. Nothing to complain about. Would definitely re visit.

We were recommended the Banningham Crown by our host at a nearby holiday accommodation. It was a good recommendation because the food was delicious and the range of drinks was good. The service was polite but due to the pub being quite busy the service was somewhat uncoordinated at times. Would definitely visit again for food.

Lovely setting for an "Olde English Pub". Staff were polite and attentive without being intrusive. Food menu was a struggle, as there was so much choice but that is a conscientious business trying to cater for "all kinds". All the food seemed to be of a high quality and value for money. The roast beef was cooked as I like it (I was asked on ordering). We will be returning again, when other family members are visiting. Booking is recommended, although, as there was only my partner and I, they did find us a table! Top marks to the staff, chef(s) and owner(s)!!

Booked table for 7.15. Eventually got starter at 8.15 Got main course at 8.55. Food was good. Would have been nice to be told that there would be a delay. Informed when we paid that 5 staff were missing from kitchen.

Brilliant Banningham.Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Friendly and warm welcome from all the staff, very clean venue with excellent covid protocols, we felt very safe. The service was spot on, this is a very well run establishment. The food was outstanding, absolutely gorgeous tasty & piping hot, I'm sure our plates didn't need washing they were so clean! The menu is extensive and it was difficult to choose, with additional daily chefs specials to boot. I would highly recommend this pub and look forward to going here again. It has a large car park, an outdoor children's play area, they allow dogs & there's plenty of room for large groups. All this set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Outstanding. I would also recommend booking in advance as not to be disappointed, especially with large groups. Oh & they also have live music & comedy gigs etc.Whats not to love!

Nipped in for a quick pint and prosecco (as you do!) and a bar snack. Drink & food lovely. Good service. Will be back!

Really tasty food and an a nice restaurant indoors and out. Despite this the portions were very big and just a main course is enough to fill you up, it would have been nice to have tried something else.
