Limited menu won't suit all -but what we had was tasty and freshly prepared . Pet friendly if that's your wish too

Steak with triple cooked chips was excellent. Also, the chicken burger was delicious, in particular the sauce.

Lovely location, excellent service ( hannah) fresh, seasonal, tasty food, and beautifully presented..yes, it's a " pub" but needs an award..superb..

We really enjoyed our visit here, we were staying in Wells and drove down after reading good reviews, we weren't disappointed! Beautifully cooked Sunday roast and brownie dessert with coffee ice cream.. lovely!! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. One of the best meals during our stay.

A limited menu of seasonal produce. Cooked and presented in an excellent manner. Quality is 5 star.Pleasant surroundings. The bar and restaurant are light and airy with a cosy feeling.We stayed for the night. Large comfortable room. Comfortable bed.Limited TV reception, but then again if your basing yourself here to explore you won't have time to watch tv.

Wow, what a place, fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, lovely people, beautiful decor and a lovely building, staff friendly and helpful, would give more stars if there was an option, the best food i have EVER tasted, been to other really expensive restaurants and they don't even come close to the food that the chef can create, would recommend ( and have ) to anybody and everybody, treat yourself you will not regret it

Incredible eating experience in a beautiful country pub. We have tried most of the gourmet pubs in the region and the Barsham Arms is in our top three every time. Stunning cooking, great service and a lovely setting. You won’t be disappointed.

Visited this place with my wife, 2 children and dog. The vibe and atmosphere in this place is outstanding, service was excellent and the food was fantastic! I ordered the Sea Bream and it was well presented and tasted great. Can't recommend this place highly enough, really wish it was my local pub!

Went for dinner early evening. Beautiful pub, staff great and plenty of space around the tables. The menu isn't massive but was excellent. Quality of food was top notch, even dessert. A great find and we have booked for next week.

Warn welcome from staff and friendly support and service. Made to feel comfortable. Good selection of local ales. House wine most acceptable. Some items off the menu but still left a good range of dishes to choose from. Food was of excellent quality and generous portions. Pea shoots salad delicious, as was tempura prawns. Grandson devoured his pigeon breast and declared it to be the best ever. My chicken with crisp Parma ham was filling and tasty. Only disappointment was chocolate mousse. Heavy and over rich.Lovely atmosphere in this well appointed pub.
