We booked the junior suite room at The Bull for 2 nights. The room was a good size but tired looking and not what I would expect from a suite at £130 per night. There was no heating on and it was very cold in the single glazed room so I asked a total of three times over the evening for the heating to be switched on before the staff admitted it was broken. They offered to move us to another room (the family room). We moved at 10.30pm at night and upon going into the bathroom, realised the toilet was filthy! We called the manager who offered a discount or to send up a cleaner. A staff member came to clean the toilet and apologised for the poor first impression we’d had. The family room we moved to was large but equally in need of upgrading. The shower was weak and went from cold to hot randomly. My parents stayed in the twin room which was basic. The shower hose in the bathroom fell off the wall and cut my mum’s foot open.Upon checking out, we politely raised the issues we had had with our room with the staff again and were disappointed when the staff member then accused us of making the mess in the toilet in the family room we were forced to move to and using the shower there ourselves, before calling the staff to clean it all up! I don’t appreciate being accused of behaving like that and being called a liar and it is not how I expect to be treated as a customer when I have encountered disappointing service. We were offered a discount on our bill to compensate for the problems we had encountered but i definitely wouldn’t come back to this pub to stay and wouldn’t recommend it

Very pleasant traditional evening meal, no frills, good honest British food. At a reasonable price.

After a meal for 13 people at The Black Lion Hotel.. (sister pub to The Bull) to celebrate my birthday paying over ÂŁ400 for meals ... we decided to walk just up the road to The Bull we are local to Walsingham and have supported The Bull on many occassions ... a lovely time had by all.. HOWEVER this birthday celebration was totally ruined by Greg the owner who out of nowhere asked me to get off my stool..(I was just talking to friends waiting for taxi) he then took it away from me telling us all to get out... followed by his regulars who were equally not impressed. It was my idea to support both The Black Lion Hotel and The Bull to celebrate my birthday others were not keen... well unfortunately after tonight ... never again...

We visited this lovely pub and restaurant just after we had finished at the Shrine of our lady of Walsingham and what a treat. The bangers and mash was brilliant, good selection of drinks, great customer service and nice chilled out vibe. Will now be our go-to place every time we visit.

The dishonesty staff member was obviously having an off day as people do, only the excuse wasn’t responsibly taken, but blamed rather to insult further. Many fine pubs in this part of Norfolk, i suggest these folkspick up their standards further.

Delicious food, welcoming and calm atmosphere, wonderful quaint decor, just fabulous. I had the sausage and mash and it was lush, my friend had the mushroom risotto and that was also delicious. Would highly recommend. Just what you need after a visit to see the snowdrops.

Fantastic welcome from the minute I walked in to a busy, super friendly bar and was shown up to a very clean room by Greg. Scrubbed up in the spacious bathroom then back to the bar for a perfect locally made pie and some of the best Guinness I’ve tasted. The attentive, professional yet still totally relaxed atmosphere created by Greg, Shakira and the team pervades the whole feel of the Bull. That inevitably led to chats with other guests well into the evening. That continued this morning over a delicious but very relaxed, locally sourced and freshly cooked breakfast that ended up lasting two hours. Lucky they were equally relaxed about check out times. All in all a wonderful overnight solo stay that felt like a proper holiday with friends. Can’t wait to get back for another visit as soon as I can and I can’t recommend The Bull highly enough. As an aside Little Walshingham is an unexpectedly fascinating and storied place too.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDI don't have words to express my experience. From Billy cleaning the outside, every single morning, to Dave (the Manager) and the fantastic waitresses.Just impossible to be real. The quality of the food and the service, the atmosphere, and I can keep writing, and writing. This was one of the BEST experiences I had since 2003 (the year I arrived England, and I have been travelling a lot on this beautiful Country). The B&B or Pub or Restaurant or Hotel... are all on the same historic building, looks like a puzzle, a maze, Just OUTSTANDING.I AM so privileged for staying for two nights on this imaginary place.

Absolutely fabulous overnight stay. Staff were mega accommodating especially with my brother in law who has recently been poorly and has difficulty eating. They couldn't have been more caring. Rooms clean, warm and comfortable with plenty of character. We stayed there to enable easy access to Thursford Christmas Spectacular. We had a great time with lovely food and will definitely return next November. It was one of the best weekends we've had.

Popped in on the off chance of a simple lunch. We were fortunate and got a table, it filled up soon after. We ended up having a decent lunch. Sandwiches all round were very nice and with excellent bread. The accompanying side salad was fresh. Landlord seemed like a nice chap also.
