The Crown Hotel Restaurant in North Norfolk

We cannot fault this beautiful pub with wonderful staff one bit. We have just stayed here for the weekend and from the moment we set eyes on this gorgeous village pub we felt at ease. It is exceptionally clean, very welcoming, and the staff were polite, welcoming, accommodating, fun and top class. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they even called us trying to remind us we had left one of our belongings. The food is out of this world. Contemporary twist on classic pub food, high end in flavour and design. Service was speedy and the staff went out of their way to make sure our dinner, breakfast and stay was perfect. The rooms are warm, cosy and comfortable, spacious showers and the views over the green are just stunning. Fantastic value for money too. We will 100% be back!

Stayed here earlier in March for my husbands belated big birthday from last year. We spent 2 nights here. Lovely clean and cosy room (which was doggy friendly). We ate here both evenings, again our dogs were with us. Food at dinner, and full English in the mornings were freshly cooked and delicious. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Nothing to fault. Keep up the great work Team Crown. We will be back.

Cozy and relaxed pub. Great spaces with the bar, tables and a tea room area. I had the fish and skinny fries that was around £14. The fish was a good size was fresh, the fries could have been cooked a tad more. The dish comes with homemade tartar sauce and mushi peas, both delicious.Had great service from careful waiters.Overall a good pub dinner.

We had the pleasure of visiting for Christmas lunch. There was 13 of us, we was seated in a lovely area of the pub. It was very warm and cosy. We are quite fussy when it comes to good quality food and I can honestly say that it was amazing from start to finish. The effort and level of detail given was really appreciated. There was also no rush to eat and leave, which was really nice. Thank you for such a great time.

Went to the Crown at lunchtime for first time. Very busy because as we discovered the food here is excellent and it is a very popular pub. Highly recommended but ma ybe best to reserve a table before visiting.

Drove into the carpark on the off chanceLady managed to allocate us a table .Cannot rate this place highly enough .The roast beef was absolutely first class , moist , tender and full of taste .Beautifully cooked roast potatoes and the most wonderful honey carrot & cabbage .Creamy Cauli Cheese 👌🏻White cheesecake was out of this world, de-constructed ,with pistachio base .The chef has my full admiration , as do the lovely attentive staff who looked after us .Best pub food I’ve ever had , and that’s no lie .Do not miss going here .Loved itM Jermy

Fantastic Food (For a change) Menu is awesome, Service is A+ If you know food, you will love this place. Chef as of November 2021 is superb using all locally sourced ingredients in the food. You won’t be disappointed.

The good was bang average at best and the service was not great either.Two of us had the burger that was really dry including the brioche bun. We told the staff and they pretty much dismissed it and just asked if we wanted more drinks. The chicken escalope was rather bland. The prawn starter was just about OK. Deserts were very good, hence the uplift from 1 star but for the money it should be a lot better.

We stayed here just for one night. The bar area is very spacious, and the log fire was welcoming (yes, I know it's May). The staff were pleasant and efficient and the room was spotlessly clean, and even a dog bed was provided for our Spaniel. We were perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was huge and delicious. I would absolutely stay here again.
