The Globe Inn Restaurant in North Norfolk

We stayed at The Globe Inn for 2 nights. The staff were all super positive, helpful and friendly, notably the general manager Max! The room was clean, brand newly done up & nice, breakfast delicious - but all in all, the room at £230 per night, and food ordered on our first night felt over priced for what it was - so that is probably the only reason I would not return.

The Globe Inn at Wells Next the Sea in Norfolk is a pub restaurant positioned on the Buttlands. We phoned to book a table and was ‘squeezed in’ at quarter past 8 that evening (Tuesday March). We got there an hour early and it was relatively quiet! I ordered a cocktail and my husband a pint. We were sat at a table half an hour early. The food was ok but quite pricey. I had the small chicken £21.50 and fries £4. The service was pleasant enough. The dogs in the bar had a disagreement which was a bit loud!

What a beautiful coastal pub - stylish newly refurbished decor, cosy atmosphere, delicious food and the friendliest staff. Super dog friendly (dog menu and stays designed just for dogs) which makes for a lovely feel about the pub. Recommending to everyone and can't wait to return! Thank you!

What a Dog friendly place. The Globe and staff are very welcoming, helpful and nothing is a problem. On arriving Max gave us a friendly welcome and a quick tour. The bar is a nice place to relax and have a drink, plus meet other dogs. Breakfast and the evening meal were well presented and tasty. The room was really nice, the bed was clean and comfortable. What really made it was the goodies for our boy. There was a dog bed, bowl, dog towel and treats, what a lovely thing to do. There was even a dog menu! The Globe is well situated, but parking is a nightmare. Looking forward to our next stay and would recommend. Well done The Globe, keep it up.

We really enjoyed our lunch here. Newly opened apparently but nevertheless the staff and food were very good. We sat outside and can well imagine many others enjoying the experience over the coming summer. If you are in Wells and want some properly good food this is definitely worth a visit.

Because max is amazing. Knows the wine so well and nothing is too much of a problem for him. Honestly the best Sunday I’ve had for a long time in an establishment. Thank you max and his staff.

Such a fantastic evening at the newly refurbished Globe. The interior is welcoming and stylish, all the rooms are beautifully designed. The food was exceptional and the staff were an absolute delight.

Dog friendly, great food and a warm fire - a surprisingly difficult combo to find in the area but they nailed it. I left fuller than I intended, almost justified by the earlier local walk. Will be back next time I'm in the area!

Visited regularly during a week visit to Wells. COVID precautions are still in place so it's table service, which suits me! Staff were always friendly and attentive and the food and drinks selection was good and well priced. Can be busy at weekends even out of season but there is a good amount of seating inside and out. Well worth a visit

An excellent, dog-friendly pub with delicious food, local Norfolk beers and good service.As two vegetarians, we were a little limited for choice as there were just two options on a relatively short menu but both were delicious and the excellent serving sizes to justified the price.A proper pub in a lovely town, I would recommend to everyone.
