Great menu and service. The dining area was light and airy and the tables were well spaced. Plenty of parking with level access. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back.

A really lovely restaurant and bar. Such a friendly atmosphere. Staff were so accommodating and the food was splendid! Highly recommend it!

I am gutted I didn't take a photo of my mums meal when we went on a family occasion. I didn't find the menu very varied or indeed with ample choices. We didn't have a starter, was greeted by a very jolly waiter, and sat at a beautiful large round table. The setting was lovely, maybe needed a little a bit less lighting, but over all, very nice. Mum had belly pork, I don't think it had seen a frying pan, or saucepan, or even been near the heat!! I've only ever known belly pork to be fried, pots a bit of colour on the fast, then baked. Well, when this came out my mum was not happy, couldn't complain as no one came out to ask if we were ok. The fat on the pork was an inch thick, 2 small lines of pork meat layered with more fat, and NONE of it was cooked, YUK, I did complain when it plates were cleared and the answer was " oh dear, I'll tell the chef " there was no reply. When we paid the bill I asked about mums meal and maybe a refund and he managed to get round the question. I wouldn't care but my brother left him a large tip!!!! Won't recommend and won't be going again.

Lovely food, attentive staff, relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed celebrating my husband's birthday.

Being vegan (with a nut allergy) and vegetarian, we often struggle to find a place that can cater to all our dietary needs. The staff at the Hunny Bell went out of their way to accommodate us. The meals we had were absolutely outstanding, for a vegan option we were blow away by the superb pie. The staff were very helpful and friendly, which really added to the whole experience. The dining space has also been recently refurbished, providing a nice backdrop to the food and atmosphere. One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had, and will be going back. Would definitely recommend to anyone, 11/10!

Had a wonderful meal here, everything cooked perfectly and very tasty. The young lady who served us was very efficient, very welcoming and a lovely personality. The establishment was very clean and we felt very safe in there given these covid times we are in. We will definitely use again when next in the area.

The staff were extremely polite, welcoming and friendly without being over the top. The food was superb and the prices were very reasonable. San Miguel- our favourite- was readily available so that was a big bonus. Lovely setting, would recommend.

Great place for Sunday lunch. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Very disappointing. Was looking forward to taking my parents here for lunch as they’d eaten here a number of times.Food was all fried/pulled out of the oven with little local fresh produce and no imagination or inspiration. I can only assume that standards have slipped and/or the chef is either on holiday or has been furloughed. For the £93 we spent for lunch and drinks for 4 (one child) I’d rather have got fish and chips on the seafront and we would have had the same quality meal from our local Wetherspoons. On the plus side, the service was friendly enough and it’s a lovely venue in a sweet village.

Excellent restaurant, more than a cut above the rest in this area. Somewhat off the beaten track so you'll need a sat nav but well worth the effort. Imaginative menu and large portions. We had a huge goats cheese and beetroot salad and soused mackerel to start and excellent haddock and chips and chicken stuffed with black pudding for mains. Very attentive service and nice setting. Highly recommended
