Really good. We only wanted a light lunch and the menu outside was very enticing. The selection of teas, real leaf teas, was outstanding. We both had a chicken, pesto, and mozzarella cheese panini, that was served with salad and crisps. No one has gluten fee paninis, but The Kitchen did. How good is that! Gluten free bread, crumpets, soup, sausages and at least one cake a day makes for a great choice. The interior is smart, clean and tidy, and the hosts were extremely pleasant and informative. We'll worth calling in.UPDATE. Called in again after seeing the full breakfast on our previous visit.I don't know how better to describe it, but you know when food tastes fresh and clean? Well it did. Fresh eggs with runny yolks, bacon cooked to my request, crisp hash browns, really good. Great coffee as well. Best of all? The company. Locals that were happy to talk to holiday makers as though they'd known them for years. The Kitchen is a top place. Roll on our next visit.

Just popped in for a coffee after a long walk. Brilliant coffee and staff. Breakfast menu looked fantastic, will go later in the week.

Lovely place for breakfast. Our party of 6 was served quickly. Food was delicious, as was the coffee, and all very well priced for the quality. For tourists visiting the area, it's best to be aware that tables will be reserved for locals first, which is reasonable as locals provide year round rather than seasonal business.Would recommend if you can get a table.
