The Lawns Wine Bar and Hotel in North Norfolk

Great location and rooms are spacious and nice. Breakfast served at 8am which is inconvenient for most business people but they are helpful if you ask for cereal and milk the night before. They have an iron board and iron and shoe polish etc so quite useful service

We came here as a group of four for evening drinks - wonderful hospitality and ambiance.We also over the same weekend came for Sunday lunch - excellent food and service. The best three course meal we have had in a very long time. Highly recommend you visit The Lawns if you are in Holt.

Really loved this place. Comfy beds and room. Food was very good and the breakfast was lovely.

Stayed for two nights. Our room (8) was nice. Knew beforehand there was no standing shower but it would still be good to fit a screen at least as washing was tricky! Staff were all friendly. Breakfast was good, nice portions to set you up for the day. Would recommend to anybody looking for a base to explore north Norfolk.

Excellent lunch. The homemade orange and carrot soup was superb. Wonderful tart as well.

Definitely not what is advertised. The website is far more 4 star than the hotel. It has the opportunity to really make something of itself but it leaves a lot to be desired at the moment. Food was nice and the rooms o.k. Shame I couldn't say any better but we've stayed in better Premier Inn's. Even the kids asked if it was the same hotel that we saw on the website!!! I received a feedback request prior to any posting so gave it (quite politely) but have heard nothing back, so here's my post.

These guys were utterly fantastic. Despite our error of booking the wrong place, they got 10 of us seated at short notice. The drinks were quick, the food was amazing and the service was great

Great place to stay in North Norfolk. We stayed in room 8 a large comfortable room with large bathroom. Breakfast excellent with a wide variety on the menu. We ate in the restaurants a number of times during our 6 night stay and the food was superb. Staff very welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend The Lawns

Delicious food and very friendly service. We sat in the conservatory which was nice and bright, along with our 2 dogs who were made to feel very welcome. Quick service with a smile. Overall a very nice experience, would recommend.
