The drinks were very expensive which let the meal down such a shame

Absolutely delicious food, all the ladies in my group were more than happy, and the portions were a decent size. The sizzling brownie dessert was quite a spectacle!

Great food, reasonably priced. Mice friendly staff. Will go again.

Went last week as part of the group that booked the whole restaurant. Even with the number of people all orders came out correct and together. Comments round my table of 6 where all positive, I enjoyed my mixed grill with Jacket, all cooked perfectly. Staff where friendly an polite. Would recommend booking as often full. During the day this is the Garden Centre cafe and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings is taken over by the brill Smokey team.

This is THE hidden gem of North Walsham (if not Norfolk!!).Booking is recommended well in advance as they fill up quickly. It is only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.The service is excellent. The food is plentiful, well cooked and very reasonably priced.Give it a go if you can!!

My name is Sam there always been great food and greats price and awesome service and it a very welcome place. I gone a lot of times and love going here. you will always be leave happy and fill by there wide range of tasty food and the waiting doesn't not feel long by time it can take about half a hour or 45mins. If u want good food and a welcoming place to go on a date or with friends.

Saw the sign and decided a steak would go down well, however during the day they have another menu....Not much of interest in the day menu so I went with eggs chips and sausages, only one egg, and two of the smallest sausages I have seen. To make it worse some of the chips were solid, all of the ingredients were clearly your supermarket cheap and cheerful range. I shall not be returning... And now need to find something decent to eat before work.

The experience i had tonight was as follows!!Walked in to be greeted by a lovely waitress with a big smile.Looked through the menu and as I've been watching the calories lately decided to order the grilled place and asked for it to come without the dill butter and a jacket potatoe instead of the chips.The side salad was very small but very nice, the potatoe was fine but the fish had a coating of oil on it. I queried this with the not so smiley waitress as the other one was unavailable. The reaction i got was really defensive with her saying well how can you grill it with no oil and i said that it hadn't been grilled but griddled. She walked off shaking her head as if to give the impression i was being unreasonable which then made me feel very uncomfortable throughout the rest of the evening.The chef, ( her husband) came out saying there was no oil on it only what was used to cook it in, I rest my case, you don't use oil to grill something but you do when you griddle it, They are a foreign couple that don't seem to know the difference and the menu is very misleading.The food was on the whole very good apart from the griddlled not grilled fish.When we left the restaurant there was no attempt to say goodnight and thank you , we were just totally ignored.All in all i would not recommend going there for the customer service. Apart from the very nice english waitress .As i work in the service industry myself I know that even if i think the customer is wrong i would make them think they are right and not make them feel uncomfortable.
