The Swan Inn in North Norfolk

A nice pub right on the broads. We only had drinks here but it's got a lovely garden and fantastic indoor decor. Both the drinks were lovely and around £3 each or so. We had a boat so we moored up outside. The moorings are for customers only which seems reasonable.The member of staff that served us was a little bit snappy and sassy. We weren't really waiting to order yet, just standing back from the bar looking at the menu, firmly in relaxed broads-mode when she asked curtly "inside or outside?" and when we said we'd not decided yet it was obvious from her face that irritated her considerably.

Great location and the staff are very friendly, the food is very reasonable priced and delicious pizza... A perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon with partner, friends or family.. Dogs very welcome too which is a bonus.

Simply THE best lunch in the sunshine. Great service super menu and the food was EXCELLENT.I had the burger well it was superb really fresh crunchy salad a burger topped with brisket beef sweet potato fries .Definitely return again and again.

We ( 2 humans and 2 fox terriers) we have returned again !! The food is A star + fresh well cooked /presented great choices.I can vouch for the fish and chips and steakOoh yes !!! To chef you CAN cook a great steak!!The views service and whole package are Astar so come on get down there by boat or car you need to visit this fine establishment.

I wish there were an option for 6 stars! One of the nicest meals I've had in a pub-type restaurant.The pub itself is beautiful, views of the river, nice spacious tables, warm atmosphere (helped by lovely log fire during a very cold day!) and great service, the staff were all really lovely.The food is just fantastic, was not expecting this when we ordered but it was all fresh made, utterly delicious and like eating the equivalent of a very warm hug! The slow cooked beef and porcini borguignon was rich, melt in the mouth and the dumpling was a fluffy thing of beauty.Highly recommended and wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch and was blown away! It was our first time there and we both ordered the beef. The portions were enormous, I could barely finish mine. Staff were polite and attentive but not overbearing. We will both definitely be returning - would really recommend

We arrived for an early lunch at noon on the day of storm Eunice. The staff weren't quite ready, there were no menus available as they hadn't been printed, and it took a while to allocate a table for the 6 of us in an almost empty restaurant. Once seated there was a delay in ordering our drinks too.The weather outside was frightful but the log fire was delightful, as was the food when it arrived. Staff were attentive and cheerful. Nothing to put us off visiting again.

Lovely place to eat, great menu and lovely views over the river. In the warm weather there is a great terrace by the river to eat outside. Thoroughly recommend. Good vegan options.

Came in for lunch and I cannot flaw this establishment in the slightest beautiful atmosphere, wonderful and attentive staff Evie and Tom went above and beyond to make sure everything was good for us. The food well one of the best meals I have eaten in a long time the pie was both visually and taste wise stunning. The mushroom starter was phenomenal and the dessert was on a whole different level. Will definitely be coming back hats off to the chef and a thank you to all the staff for making it such a lovely experience

Just got back from a 3 night stay at the Swan inn, had a lovely time. Hotel room was nice and clean fresh towels every day. Check in was quick the staff were lovely and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but the evening meals were nice. Will definitely return.
