The Three Cottages Fish Restaurant in North Norfolk

Came to Walsham on holiday for a week (couple with the 3 dogs) and got to say the fish and chips are out of this world, especially as they're fried in beef dripping. Can't say as I've had fresh plaice before, but the one I had was sooo tasty, and as for the minted mushy peas, well... 😊 See you next year 👍

Staff are lovely, always happy to talk too, very polite and accommodating especially as we're all gluten free. And food is always delicious. Thanks 'The O'Briens'

Lovely chip shop with nice staff.Good selection of options on the menu.Can get very busy their so sometimes lengthy waits. It can be quicker going their to order than do a phone order. I did go to do a phone order once and was told at least 45 mins. Took the gamble and drove down. Ordered and waited 10 minutes.Portions are not to bad regarding sizes. Fish is lovely with a crispy batter.Savoloy is good, but smaller than you might normally get.Overall nice chip shop.

Gorgeous fish and chips cooked in good old fashioned dripping! Best I've had in a long while! 100% Recommended!

Excellent food as always, great to have everything piping hot and ready to take away. Mushy peas AND mint sauce be rude not to!! Staff and service always great. Love the banter and good humoured abuse. You won't be disappointed

Fantastic fish and chips! So nice to have such a good chippy in walking distance of our holiday accommodation. Skinless and boneless cod fillets and light crispy batter, chips were textbook too! The giant sausage was bigger than any of us expected. Would gladly visit here again and again. Online ordering was convenient and hassle free too.

Portion sizes for chips are not that good, fish and other stuff to eat are good. The price on the food are a bit high. On a busy night you have to wait a long time, but they do cook to order though so that's good. They have car parking so that's good too. Nice and clean in their so that's good. The staff are not very friendly though so they could up their game on that side of thing's, but all in all it's a good chipy. So I will give it a three star ***
