Situated on the sea front at Sheringham this pub does good food and beer. Very nice and accommodating. My wife wanted salad instead of chips with her fish and the out of the ordinary proved no problem. Dog friendly too with some tasty gravy bones provided!

Delicious hot food! Helpful staff. We hadnt booked but it wasnt a problem. Food served all day which is great . Very attentive staff. Reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Would have been better if they had put their daily specials on a blackboard or supplementary menu. I had to listen to the specials being described about 20 times during my meal. Otherwise, good.

Covid rules still in place which may suit many people...upon entering we were ushered to a table.....(which was sticky!!)) and not of our choice and bought a drinks menu...10 minutes later the waiter took our order.....drinks on the expensive side...I gave 2 stars as the Guiness was superb...however at 9.45 last orders was called and as we declined another drink the bill arrived within 2 minutes with a waitress armed with a card reader. Personally I wish to order my drink at the bar and sit where I chose at the available tables. Each to there own but my opinion is that they are trying to be 'upmarket' and falling a bit short . 8 people in the pub at 9pm on a Friday out of season probably backs my views up

Lovely pub, nice staff, great seaviews, but very tasteless, frozen food. Do not try the Seafood Plater or Fishcakes, if you are expecting fresh fish dishes. They were all wholesale frozen alternatives. Overpriced for low quality pub grub.

Visited on our first day of our holiday. Lovely position overlooking the sea. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Dog friendly which is always good. Service was very good and the quality of the food was excellent. Will definitely visit again before we leave. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Sheringham on holiday.

Staff very busy so you need to attract their attention if you want anything else after your initial order is taken. Unusually it is still only table service. The pub itself is very nice, be careful where you sit though as the door is constantly opening and it was a cold night when we were there, we constantly were getting a very cold draught.Menu is a bit limited in choice, portion sizes are very good. The food is good enough no real complaints. Why am I rating this a three stars ? Being charged £4.50 for an orange juice and lemonade was absolutely outrageous pricing, it spoilt the whole experience and cannot be justified.

It was clean enough and we had drinks and very lite lunch but it’s one thing to allow well behaved dogs in but having someone else’s loose dog decide to hang around your table during mealtimes is not acceptable. The dog was eventually called away only to be encouraged up onto the sofa at the dining table and staff thought this all was OK. All while food is being served.

Had lunch with a friend, they still follow all covid rules with table service. Was very reassuring. The new decor was lovely fresh and clean, reflecting perfectly its situation on the sea front. Now to the food. Absolutely great, wonderful fresh produce, beautifully presented. Staff were lovely, making us feel quite at home. Would definitely recommend.

Had an excellent Sunday lunch, yesterday. The roast beef meal was very tasty, beautifully cooked and served by helpful staff. Very impressed...one of the best roast meals we've ever tasted.
