The Victoria Inn Restaurant in North Norfolk

Location great, staff excellent. Food very mediocre but could have been poor ordering on my part. Boyfriend had steak and loved it. I had chicken and It wasnt so good.

Just popped in (although thank goodness we booked in advance -now essential) for 5 star lunch after beach walk from Wells. Usual excellent courtesy from everybody and so dog friendly. Will book now for return in May.

Had a lovely meal here on a Sunday evening. The food was lovely and the service was great. Added to that a really nice atmosphere as well. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner visited Victoria’s and they provided us with excellent service and extremely tasty food!I’d highly recommend asking to be seated in the conservatory - whether it’s hot and sunny or rainy and grey - it’s a lovely atmosphere in there!Sunday lunches are very good and i’d definitely visit again!The only down side is, you get X2 roasted potatoes & one stem of cauliflower in the cauliflower cheese… which I think is poor. The upside is, you get lots of meat!

Such a special place... atmospheric, friendly and delicious food. Really enjoyed our lunch here and so did our 2 dogs !

A LAST minute booking. The receptionists were so helpful, accommodating and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay. So genuinely dog friendly, with beds, bowls and treats for the dogs. The room was beautiful and spotless. The restaurant and bar staff were helpful and friendly. The location is the best. A very special treat but worth it.

Great hotel, excellent food and service. The rooms are very comfortable and dog friendly. Hygiene standards were excellent with full Covid protocols in place. We enjoyed our visit so much we've booked to return in May!

The food was well presented and tasted fine. That said, it was also very overpriced. Most of the waiting staff were great. However, there was an issue with one individual regarding seating that made many our large group uncomfortable, including the young child it was directed at. That in itself was appalling in respect of customer service and quite frankly, just a total lack of common decency. This only involved one member of staff might I add. I am a dog owner but I'm no fan of barking dogs in a restaurant either. That is just a personal preference obviously.I would certainly not recommend, The Victoria Inn, nor would I visit again, if only for the rude obnoxious member of staff.

We love this place. It's clean, friendly and even pet friendly, the menu is seasonal, so guaranteed different food throughout the year, the ingredients are fresh, the food is delicious and they have a good selection of beer and lager, wines and cocktails. Can't wait to come back. We've been coming here for over 10 years, and the quality has always been excellent.

Best restaurant in Wells. Super friendly. Excellent food. Well behaved dogs almost compulsory. Prices bit higher but happy to pay for this quality. Book early to avoid disappointment
