The Village Chippy in North Norfolk

Whilst working for the ambulance service, myself and my crew mate went into this chip shop during our 30 min break and the owner of the shop was very kind, they opened early and gave us a veryy!! Generous discount which was so kind and generous. Thank you, your kindness was very appreciated 💚

Delicious.Ordered X2 large cod and chips, portions were large and beautifully cooked. Chips cooked in beef dripping were very tasty. All cooked to order, nothing sitting in the cabinets keeping warm.This chippy came highly recommended, I can see why.Excellent value for money, friendly staff and worth waiting for our suppers to be cooked.If you haven't been already, go out of your way and pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Very good fish and chips. Lovely crispy batter and huge portion of fish- highly recommend.

Was not impressed with the fish and chips tonight, all it looked a little well done and quite unappetising. It is usually much better than this.

Pretty much spot on with the fish, pies, chips and spring roll. But one star knocked off for a sour pineapple fritter, needed some sugar big time!

Came here because the Bacton chippy was closed. Great fish and chips, did gluten free as wife coeliac. Huge portions.

Visited today, busy but brilliant, big queue served in good time. They even separated an adult portion of scampi and chips into 2 boxes for .y kids despite being crazy busy and even when I made a mistake confirming my order, they were so polite and kind. Now the food... brilliant. Lovely scampi and fresh cut chips of lovely random shapes and sizes cooked fantastically. Definitely going back again. Thanks :)

First time customer here, definitely won’t be the last! Food cooked to order (two cod & chips), not a long wait. Neither the fish or chips greasy at all. Served in a box which is very handy for eating outside (with lots of seating nearby). Friendly staff too. Looking forward to heading back!
