The White Horse Overstrand in North Norfolk

Loved everything about it. Typical pub but very spacious, large garden. Food was great and so were the staff. Our room was was cosy with comfy bed and more facilities and toiletries than some large hotels. We are definitely going to stay again .

We ordered duck with kale, fondant potatoes and parsnip purée which turned out to be a trace element. Food , when it arrived was a disappointment. The duck was tough ( we had to ask for steak knives to cut it) quantities were small and the meal was only just warm. The fondant potatoes were undercooked. Not good enough for the price.

Stopped off for a coke and rest, bar staff friendly , good choice of beers, food menu looks good, very clean inside and out, excellent beer garden with a play area, will be going back

Had a lovely stay. Room, service and hotel all excellent. Location brilliant for wandering to the beach and around Overstrand. Food good, breakfast especially 😋, but evening meal selection was a bit limited, plus it's on the pricey side of good pub grub. Would definitely recommend a visit and a stay though 👍. Thank you.

We just had a nice tea for two in the garden with an excellent playground. With ice cream for kids. Very quick service and great price. Looked like a nice range of beers on tap when I went to pay.

Excellent Full English Breakfasts and Sunday roasts. Always a friendly atmosphere. Nice for families, with a lovely beer garden with play area for the kids. Well worth a visit.

Great food served by nice people in a lovely setting. 11 meals and deserts beautifully made. Easy going environment and a great garden

Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures but here is the story. Great tasty burger but very few chips and salad. It is pitty to be stingy giving the customer such few chips ( like a child portion) hardly any salad and spoil the experience of eating here when actually the chef seems to cook well. Do the right thing and give customer a decent portion after all it is one of the most expensive burgers I have eatin. I will try again soon and if they read the reviews and take into account their customers opinion I don't see any problem in changing my review in much better one!

We were greeted with a warm welcome on our arrival, had a quick drink in the very modern looking bar area before being shown to our room. Our room was spacious, very clean and well maintained. Comfy bed, great shower and decent sized bathroom. Dinner was great, amazing NYE menu, delicious food served promptly and piping hot, and we were well looked after throughout by Lucy, Laura and their colleagues. Highly recommended for a night away or a longer stay. 100 yards from the beach, plenty of on street parking, 5 mins from Cromer town centre.

A very warm friendly welcome. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Room very comfortable and made up nicely for a 4 year old too. A nice selection of complimentary toiletries and drinks.Lovely meal in the restaurant. Amazing breakfast. We will definitely be back!! Fantastic value break!
