Wells Ice Cream Company in North Norfolk

Having just visited and had the carrot cake ice-cream I was very impressed, super friendly staff who were very informative about their products and it was the best I've ever tasted, having looked at the previous reviews, all I will say is they are old and no reflection of my experience today, please go and try you will not be disappointed.

Polite and friendly staff. Large selection of flavours and portions/scoops are quite generous. Pricing is comparable to the other ice-cream shops. Quick serving and you don't have to wait long compared to the other local food/ice-cream shops.

Really delicious gelato! Great choice. Been years since I have had ice cream this good. The coffee is amazing. Orange swirl to die for and banoffee is perfect. Real ingredients so it tastes perfect! Good portions too!!

Was out for a day at the beach with some friends and family and decided to go into what seemed like a very nice shop. I decidedly to be a little bit it’s whacky and get those classic triple scoop icecreams in cartoons lol. After asking, he at first say is no but it almost immediately said he’ll try’s which i found extremely nice of him. The ice cream flavour we’re slightly unique but also i feel delicious managed to finish the whole ice cream. Great price for such a large a mount of ice cream and overall so nice to meet such lovely people and to have such a nice end to the day. Honestly, love this show shop the people, especially the mini spoons. May make this ice cream shop a tradition :)

Always a go to place when visiting wells! Went last weekend and had the vegan chocolate ice cream which was delicious. The service has always been fine for me, last week there was a big bowl of dog treats which was kind of them! I’d recommend going here if you visit wells

Delicious gelato! Got the banana fudge, double scoop and the portion was very generous. Could see the server softening the gelato too. Great waffle cone too. Can't wait to get it again!!

Unfriendly service. Ice cream tasted ok- nothing special and not worth the price. I had a scoop of passionfruit that somehow had a bit of chocolate melted into it. Guessing the ice cream scooper was not cleaned prior to putting it in ice cream. Also a wafer that contained dairy was put on my daughter's sorbet after I had said she needs dairyfee options. The wafer was kept on their counter and the same sorbet was given to me! Do not go here if you have food allergies as they seem unbothered by this. There was no option to write a review on Facebook. Location is excellent and the style of the shop. I do not recommend for ice cream!

I agree with the other reviews on the lack of service and very average ice cream. Popped in for an afternoon Ice cream with my family. First disappointment was that there was no chocolate ice cream. Second was that when I was explaining to my 5 year old (who wanted chocolate/hazelnut flavour) that the kinder bueno named ice cream was probably a close alternative… the man serving said there is no hazelnuts in that one. My reply being… well it’s not kinder bueno then… and he responded… no it’s ice cream! His attitude stinks and face matched his mood. You can’t call an ice cream Kinder Bueno if it’s not using all the flavours of Kinder bueno. He definitely had better places to be. I reluctantly chose honeycomb ice cream because my daughter had chose her flavour and i didn’t went to hold people up. the honeycomb was more like vanilla with the odd tiny piece of honeycomb… very disappointing. Mine and my daughters, one scoop in a waffle cones were £3.50 each and my husband had 2 scoops for £4.50. £11.50 for 3 average ice creams and some rubbish and rude service. We then sat and ate our average ice creams and watched him being as rude and ignorant to other customers coming in. We will not be back and I recommend others to use one of the other parlours within a short stroll!

Ice cream was amazing, if not a little over priced. However, the single member of staff was rude and cold and didn't respond at all when I was friendly and chatty to him. As I left I tried to return a charging cable left at a yable. To which I was accused of stealing it.
