nice location, great place to sit and watch the boats coming in etc.shame about the service though, lady who welcomed us was lovely but then we were served by someone who’s attitude absolutely stunk. We ordered drinks which came flat. £4.40 for two flat pepsi max’.We said we wanted to order food, we then waited 30 minutes to be served??? We only had 40 mins left on our parking so then had to tell the waitress that we didn’t have time to order- to which we were given a dirty look.Shame really because it seems like a lovely place.Shame about the service and the ridiculously unhygienic acrylic nails on the waitress too.

Unattentive staff... 4 of you working yet it still took 20 minutes too take our food order.Other than that, lovely food! Might be worth looking into dishwasher salts, a little too much remnants on the glasses we received.

Service really good and the pizza and ham and eggs dragged it from a one to a two star!Highchair was dirty and needed cleaning which should in today's covid world be a given! Unfortunately the frozen scampi was so overdone and dark and the chips a very dark colour which means the oil in the fryer should have been changed. We ate the food as we were very hungry but would not come for a second visit and recommend any other place.Just a shame as the place looked nice and consider it is so close to the coast, there's no fresh offering, just bought in frozen catering food.

The food was lovely. Have been coming to the wherryman for years. Always been a nice place. However, on my precious 2 visits to the restaurant the dining experience was sub par. Again the food was lovely but the customer service was pretty poor, with the staff being rather unpleasant. One member of staff would pull faces when interacting with customers and on our second visit, myself and my girlfriend were the only two inside the restaurant and we were greeted with rather unpleasant and dirty looks of the majority of the young staff. Furthermore, we had to ask for our food order because no member of staff was willing to come and take it. Such a shame considering how good the food is and how the customer service used to be in years gone by.

While visiting the Broads we stumbled on this lovely looking restaurant and decided to stop for a bit of lunch. Once seated we waited 10minutes to receive a menu. Having made our choices we waiting around 15 minutes for the waiter to take our order. We wished to order both our drinks and food together however, the waiter told us he could only take our drinks order as the kitchen could only take 4 orders at a time. A little shocked at this as their where no more than 8 tables occupied at this time. We waited patiently. After around20minutes our food order was finally taken. Drinks however still had not arrived. Again we waited. Our drinks finally arrived almost 35 minutes after we where seated. Our food arrived and was very disappointing. Missing items and burnt. No staff around to complain or raise concerns with. We attempted to eat the food but much was left on our plates. Disappointed and still unsatisfied we finally managed to ask for our bill and voiced our concern to the waitress. To be told she would inform the kitchen. No apology or remedy offered for the poor service. Shocking service avoid at all costs!

This is the second review based on the poor customer service displayed by the owner.Originally I had given this place a generous 3stars but with the owner, claiming simply taking an order on a quiet shift should take ten minutes is fine and standard in a restaurant, and saying anyone expecting faster service or to have their whole order taken at once if they are ready, should go to McDonalds says exactly what is wrong with how they are running the place. Also read all the reviews before going here I’m not the only customer this owner has been rude to about their feedback. Learn to improve and accept fact based criticism, not bash your customers for valid negative feedback.Original reviewSo we went to the wherryman for lunch, as they seemed fairly quiet. we had our drinks order taken after 10 minutes of waiting this was timed. We were ready to order food, but got told they could only do 4 food orders at a time, apparently so we wouldn’t have to wait, which seems illogical. Another 15minutes later and we had our food order taken. 10minutes later the drinks arrived, I had to go back to car park to renew ticket as the hr was almost up and no food in sight. After returning to table which was now coming up to the 1hr mark. The food had just arrived. My wife’s order was missing coleslaw and the jacket potato was burnt on the bottom, while the hunters chicken I ordered was cooked it was not really up to the £11 price tag in terms of quality. I really recommend the management of the restaurant be reviewed as the 3 waiting staff should have had no issues and been more efficient. And the same for the kitchen which seemed to struggle with making most of the customers jacket potato’s or sandwiches.

After a 7hr drive we arrived at a local hotel tired and hungry. After a little walk the sign for fresh pizza enticed us in. The young gentleman serving us couldn't have been more polite and helpful. We originally asked to take away, but then changed our minds to eat in and it wasn't a problem at all. Drinks order was taken within 5 minutes if sitting down and we had the freshly made pizzas 10 minutes later. And the pizzas were really delicious! Well done to all and thanks for being so welcoming 🙂

We have been here several times & find the service slow but our visit yesterday was terrible. We had booked a particular table but on arrival people sat there waiting for their food. We agreed to sit somewhere else but that had not been cleared. Waited 15 minutes before fetching our own menu & table still not cleared. A further 10 minutes went by and my husband went to ask when our order would be taken. Table still not cleared. When someone eventually came to take our order we were told we couldn't have food as the kitchen was too busy ! On a Saturday lunchtime there were clearly not enough staff on, we asked to speak to the manager to be told they were not in. Very disappointing experience !

Visited today. Ordered two sandwiches and drinks. Drinks arrived fairly quickly but the sandwiches took almost an hour and then only when I asked where they were. Three tables walked out whilst we were waiting.I have noticed a trend that whenever anyone criticises anything you become very rude and basically call them liars. Very unprofessional. I can categorically assure you we waited an hour as we knew exactly.what time we ordered. As I stated before three tables left because they were fed up with waiting

Poor service by over stretched waiting staff.Waited 20 minutes for our drinks order to be taken.Waiter came back 10 minutes later to take the order again.Food arrived incorrectly my wife ordered Tomatos and Ham she got Tomatoes and Cheese. My Cheese melt was barely warm one member of staff just hugged the coffee machine even when she wasn't using it.A little team work goes a long way.I felt for the two young waiting staff taking orders, serving food, cleaning tables etc.*In reply to the owners comments two waiting staff working inside and out at a rough count from the pictures on here. There are at least ten tables outside and similar inside. So waiting staff is two = 10 tables each
