We are staying in Bengate and the White Lady is conveniently a short walk across the fields. We went for a drink the day we arrived and decided to go back for food. Friendly place. Lots of locals drinking there adding their colour. We had some nice food and beer. The black pudding with peppercorn sauce was probably the best black pudding dish we’ve ever had.

Me and my partner went in for food last night, it was very quiet but it was lovely because of how peaceful it was. Food was amazing we both enjoyed it so much, got to say it was one of the best meals we’ve had out and we’ve been to many places. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back again!Thank you for your service!

We're currently staying here next to the White Lady. Lush accomodations. Very clean and tidy with everything you need. Peaceful location. Beautiful church. Pub food is spectacular! Looking forward to another meal there before heading home. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a spot to explore the Norfolk coastal area from.

Had Sunday Lunch here today,Our visit started off with a warm welcome from the gentleman behind the bar, who served our drinks then showed us to our table. The menu is short and uncomplicated but don't let that fool you. We opted for a roast beef dinner and after 15 minutes out it came. We were not disappointed, lovely tender beef, roast potatoes cooked in herbs (I can't get all technical here because I'm no cook). and a generous Yorkshire pudding. The vegetables were served in a separate dish and consisted of Roast Carrots, Green Beans and red cabbage which had been caramelized (I think) and tasted divine. The homemade gravy, or 'Jus' as posh restaurants call it was rich and thick and morish. I don't normally eat deserts but having spotted Stick Toffee Pudding on the menu I surrendered and once again was not disappointed, the hot spicy, sweet pudding balanced out by the creamy vanilla Ice cream. We have put this on our list of guilty pleasures and will definitely be returning to sample some of the other delights on offer. Oh and the chef did come table side and gave away a few small secrets about how things were cooked!

After our countryside walk with friends we had a meal at The White Lady, so glad we did, the fish & chip meal was excellent, the restaurant is lovely and bright and you can also sit outside. I would highly recommend.

So peaceful, so relaxing.Fancy a restful break this is the place to come. Beautiful area, beautiful property. Very friendly staff. Room we had is spotless and perfect, extremely comfy! Great bar, great brekkies. Just a few miles from Nth Walsham, and a few more miles from Mundesley which is a stunning beach with all you could need within a stones throw. 12 miles from Norwich City centre. Cannot say enough for The White Lady and shall be coming back.

Great pub food. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Good quality, my wife had a massive piece of fresh cod with her fish and chips. I had sausage and mash with dried shallots and gravy. Beer was good too. Lovely quiet village at Worstead, I should imagine a stay at this pub hotel would be wonderful. Landlord was very welcoming and the waiter was very helpful.

Lovely little village gastro pub. Traditional menu, but all very tasty items, and all very clearly cooked to order on site and able to accommodate dietary preferences. Great selection of drinks (incl. a good selection on tap), and very attentive and pleasant service whilst dining.Wasn't too busy on the Saturday night we went, and we felt social distancing was maintained pretty well and we felt safe throughout. The pub was also dog friendly so we were able to take our pooch along too. We'll definitely visit again if we're in the area.
