Yim Siam in North Norfolk

Not sure why this hasn’t got more recent reviews. I have been getting takeaways from this Thai Restaurant for over a year. Tonight was the first time we went in for food and it’s was perfect.Service was faultless, food was amazing as usual!If you’re looking for somewhere to go, I can promise you that I have never been disappointed.

Very disappointed‼️My partner and I have been here a few times throughout the pass year, being our closest Thai takeaway. NEVER AGAIN! They obviously don’t know/care the importance of allergies. I have celiac disease which I let them know multiple times before alway orders. I always order a pad-Thai from there, only to find out they’ve been putting soy sauce in which is NOT gluten free. Who knows what else they’ve said to be gluten free when not, imagine if it was a nut allergy!Besides from them not taking allergies seriously the food was terrible and very pricy, £20.90 for a chicken panang curry and king prawn pad-Thai. Food portions was despicable. Tails were still left on the four king prawns we had. The curry had thinly chopped up bay leaf which made the curry inedible so that went to waste.Won’t be going again! Please don’t go if you have any allergies‼️

We use the restaurant regularly for a takeaway and eat in. We ordered a takeaway last night food tasted the same but the food portion was terrible hardly no meat or veg but too much sauce. Have been charged the same price. Shame as you will lose customers if you keep this up. I know everyone is making cutbacks but this could effect your business.This will put me off using you but we will try again and see if it's the same. Hope it has improved by then.

The food is extremely tasty. My other half had noodles with chicken with no spice and loved it. I had the rice noodle saladand loved the food. Pity there are no chopsticks in the restaurant, as it would have tasted even better!

We just had an excellent lunch. The food was freshly cooked to order, beautifully presented and wonderfully flavoured without being heavy or salty. The pricing is more than reasonable and the really good food means we'll certainly be returning again. Another positve is the take away option

Not impressed at all. As a family of 3 we bought 86 pounds. The food with the exception of one dish was way below par and expensive for what we got.We waited from point of order nearly 1 hour and 40 minutes, never in our lifes have we waited so long for food.The desserts were the worst of all... nearly 6 pounds each for a tiny piece of Tesco’s defrosted own brands.Never would we return. How this restaurant is still open is beyond us.

Lovely food, friendly service and pricing reasonable. Very accommodating as we needed a table for 6 which in a small restaurant could have been tricky. Nothing was too much trouble for them and i would certainly go back if i was in the area again. If you want a great Thai meal, try here, You won't be disappointed 😊😊

We had a meal at this restaurant yesterday, on the last day of our holiday. The meal we had was lovely, it tasted fresh and full of flavour. I am a vegetarian and so I was pleased to find that there were plenty of meat free options for me I chose some lovely spicy noodles with vegetables. The rest of my family all enjoyed their chosen dishes, even my very fussy son The staff were friendly and the tables were well presented. We were given enough time to choose and help with any questions about the menu. Dessert was also delicious.Reasonable prices and good portion sizes All in all a lovely meal. 🙂I wish it was near home because it puts our local restaurant to shame. Will definitely visit again when we return to the broads and Wroxham.
