Al Dente in Norwich

Gorgeous food as always, I have never had something at Al Dente that hasn't been delicious!! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and my boyfriend looked pleasantly surprised by the bill too!!! Definitely recommend!!

Me and my partner went there for Dinner. Staff were very professional, polite and informative.Food was awesome. Simple yet delicious. They also prep their fresh pasta in the window which i like!Would 100% recommend and will definitely be going there again!

Best Carbonara in the world hands down. Lovely friendly service. Can’t wait to go back. You can also pop in for fresh pasta to cook at home which is awesome! If you love pasta then it’s for you.

I really enjoyed my meal every time I went there,from the amazing cocktails, great pasta, delicious sauces and you must try the mouth-watering cannoli :)

Unfortunately I had to come back and edit my review, I originally gave 5 stars after my first visit five months ago, everything was great.. the food and staffs. I thought was one of the best Italian I had ever..(first photo of our first visit: pasta with ragu sauce, mushroom and barrata.)However my second visit was a month ago, it was disappointing, I ordered the same dish but it wasn’t the same, the sauce was runny and was not as good as I remember, some extra cherry tomato garnish there too as if they were trying to make up with it. I thought maybe the chef was off they had different staffs etc. Then today we were in town and we thought lets give it a try again and disappointingly the food was VERY Inconsistent! We ordered the same dish and the mushroom this time is different(second photo) and the meatballs were tough and dry. They do not live up to the price they are asking for.(with that price for four meatballs you would expect some good quality). Also the staffs wasn’t attentive until I asked for extra chilli flake. Then I noticed every other table have their grated cheese and stuffs excepted ours as if it was missed from the beginning.. I would say if you had a great experience and food for the first time, congratulations, but finger cross if you decide to go back because it may not be the same, that’s how inconsistent they are and I don’t expect that from any restaurant..especially italian..

Really great food and excellent service. Beautiful, fresh pasta and delicious sauces. A simple yet varied menu. Well worth a visit, especially if you love decent Italian food.

Great artisan pasta restaurant we discovered on a wet rainy midweek evening out. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff were very attentive. Definitely recommend for a friends night out

Great service, pleasant ambiance, tasty food.Five of us had a drink, main course and dessert at a cost of about £22 a head.Service was efficient and friendly. Each dish had great flavours.The restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere.

I have been to Al Dente numerous times and always love it! Arguably best pasta in Norwich :-) Its a cosy restaurant with changing specials and we even had 2 for £11 cocktails. Friendly staff, best pasta, great atmosphere!
