A traditional pub, what a rarity these days to find a pub like this. Had an Aspall Clear Cider and a meal called the Ale'x which was a rather snazzy name for beef with vegetables in gravy with garlic bread, but still very nice.

Nice to be back in one of my favourite Norwich pubs after 18 months. It was too late to eat as food stops at 7pm, but the menu looked as good as ever...

Wonderful food, setting, atmosphere. Menu as unique you'll see for an independent pub, specials were delicious and plenty of veggie options too

The Alexandra Tavern is a proper local pub, friendly, warm and welcoming. There are 6 reals on hand pump. There is a small simple food menu, with a specials board. We had the chilli beef nachos and humus with crusty bread. Both dishes were good portions and very tasty. Will defo be coming back here to eat. 🍺🍽👍
