Bowling House Restaurant in Norwich

Such a lovely place for a chilled evening with family. We went with our kids ranging in age from 8-14 plus us in our forties and everyone loved it. The bowling alleys are so cute with the pins coming up and down on strings really entertaining the younger ones! Cleverly you rent the lanes by time rather than games, and since we were staying for food they came to take our order at just the right time, which meant the food was ready for us just as we finished playing. The food is excellent and VERY filling. Will definitely be back.

After 11 months, we finally got to celebrate our marriage at the Bowling House and wow...it was worth the wait! Right from the initial communication through to the evening of the event, Jack and the BH team were exceptional. They listened to our ideas, gave us support and made the event totally seamless. The vibe, food, drinks, bowling and karaoke were all incredible...it's an amazing venue with so much to offer. I can't thank the team enough for going above and beyond for our reception! I wish we could do it all over again.

We booked Kareoke for my daughters birthday. This was great fun. All staff were professional and helped where needed. We didn't have good but it smelt and looked great what we saw. I would recommend. My only downfall was it was so noisy with the bar, and bowling all in the same area its just so noisy was difficult to have a conversation.

A fun social for our sports club. The bowling house was really responsive to all my emails and allowed us to add one extra person very last minute. Everyone enjoyed and the food portions were very generous. We went for the free bowling with a main course which helped cut down the required deposit.

Not great unfortunately, the pin system is retro which is cool but we ran into alot of issues and considering they were going for a retro feel i think the decor should really match but it just looks a bit dingy.Would be better to be able to book games rather than time as we ran out of time on our second game and asked for extra time to finish and they gave a few minutes more but clearly not enough to finish, id understand if it was busy but it wasnt.Overall it was okay but id definitely choose another location in Norwich to go bowling again.

Incredible arty place with fun and community as well as food first, bowling second. That's not to say the bowlings bad, as it's brilliant, just to say that the food is impressive as well as the live comedy and music! Great vibes as well as a surprisingly lovely garden!!

We booked our wedding reception at the Bowling House before the pandemic, Jack and his team did a fantastic job of looking after us throughout the planning process and being flexible to our ever changing needs. When we were finally able to celebrate the night was just incredible - the venue, the food (everyone was blown away!), the drinks and it was so wonderfully managed by the team. We cannot recommend enough - book to eat, play and drink and book for your parties!
