Great to find this lovely little spot when exploring the city. Really friendly staff, great options on the menu - all really fresh & beautifully presented. Lots of Vegetarian & Vegan choices.Lots of drinks choice too - many teas/coffee/alcoholic drinks. Didn’t eat the cakes but they looked amazing.Overall would definitely recommend!

Great food and the kitchen staff are attentive when serving the tables.

Had an excellent, hearty breakfast, sourced from fabulous local ingredients cooked beautifully, washed down with wonderful tea and coffee and very friendly service in a stunning medieval building. So good we went twice. Highly recommended.

Reopened under new management. It's was great, lovely hot food choices and yummy cake. Well priced too.

Attractive building on the outside, rather disappointing inside. Food/drinks o.k. but indifferent staff. Smelly toilets.

The employee Clare was commendable. An asset to this Coffee Shop/Restaurant. Elm Hill is one of the oldest pathways which also includes The Teddy Bear Shop.

The food is good. Very tempting cakes. The building itself is historic and worth a visit just to admire the stunning architecture. Like other reviewers, on my last visit, I committed the cardinal sin of placing my teapot directly on the table and was admonished by the owner! I'm sure she doesn't realise how she comes across, but it isn't good for repeat business. Her staff do understand the problem and handed me a discount voucher as an apology, when I paid. I've never been back to use it. I recommend investment in some heat resistant tablecloths or the placement of a huge warning sign on every table, to avoid upsetting both owner and clientele.
