Inside is a bit run down tables are sticky and dont serve your table if you ask one of the waitresses to bring you a drink they bring you the card machine you pay and then your left waiting we had finished our meal and cut the birthday cake and still no sign of the drinks we went to the bar they wanted proof of receipt and we showed them they then continued to say you must have drank drinks.... we didnt and went and found the waitress and said she served us she didnt bring the drinks she agreed and said she forgot.... we asked for a refund, but genuinely though if we couldnt find that waitress we would have ended up leaving without the refund as we couldnt prove that we didnt receive the drinks. The food was nice but very little flavour to any of the veg or turkey, the pork was also flavourless but the crackly was amazing the guy gave me a huge piece and that was delicious.would i come here again, my answer to that is a no brainer and is a NOPEOPLE IF YOU GO TO A CARVERY USE THE TONGS NOT YOUR FINGERS!

The carvery was fresh and tasty. A good selection of veg. It was better than 'A posh carvery' I had recently.

Good family restaurant, good value carvery. Helpful polite staff. Great play area for kids. Good parking. Don't have to wait to long for table if busy.

Play area was a good price and very good for young children. Drinks very overpriced, small Pepsi in cardboard cup £2.75. Children's meals okay. I ordered a tuna sandwich which said it was in a bloomer bread but when it came was ordinary brown bread so at £5.99 was again in my opinion overpriced

Was out and about and needed something to eat. Have been there before and pleased to say it's still good. Remember you are not paying a fortune. Good food, reasonable cooked. Of note, they have upped their game with vegetarians, now offering 3 choices for their carvery option. The staff very helpful with a query. Why knock them down 1 star? You cannot get Coke. Pepsi and that's because Pepsi is cheap. Sorry but that's a bug bear of mine. Plus my wife wanted the likes of a 7up or Sprite. No only R whites, again it's cheap. That won't put me off going again, but it could be better for doing so little.

Went here for a Sunday carvery but they serve them all week. Good selection of meats, potatoes and veg. Dessert is well catered for too as well as a full menu. Good selection of wines, beers and spirits, clean and tidy, friendly helpful staff, children's play area in doors as well as outdoors, large car park, outside dinning available.

So we visited here on a Sunday, we were informed of the short wait for a table, which was very short.Table service was excellent, we ordered the Ham, egg and Chips along with a couple of sides. The food was lovely, hot, well cooked and incredibly tasty.Would happily recommend the place to others!
