ridiculously overpriced - some food looked ok however most seen while sat down did not match the prices. will not be returning - however staff were really lovely so made it a nice sit down

·

·

We had a spontaneous visit into the Copper Kettle on a Saturday evening. Tried the Stroganoff which was great. They had a very nice Russian beer too, Baltika 3. And of course we tried some vodka, which added to the experience. Fair prices, good options, just a lovely experience overall. Would recommend. Only fault is the portion sizes were a bit small so was still hungry afterwards. But worth it for the experience

Absolutely amazing service. The warmest family run restaurant I have ever been to. And the food can certainly taste the love that’s been put into!!

Lovely place to eat. Staff are very nice and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The meals we had were fantastic! Highly recommended to all.

Machine coffee- not fresh coffee.sub standard breakfast- could make a better one at home easily.American pancakes did not taste nice at all, the berries slightly disguised the flavor. Nothing like American pancakes. 5 small pancakes.butNice staffNice decour

"Could not fault the food!"I had the vegan pancakes and they were very tasty, just the right amount of sauce and berries.I also took my partner who is a very picky eater and he was in love with the fry up, he couldn't find anything to complain about. The staff too were amazing, very attentive

I absolutely love coming here for breakfast. Great vegetarian breakfast and my friend enjoys her version as well! The woman on staff is very friendly and helpful so you can't complain there.I also come here with my mam who loves it too.Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere cosy.Very tasty!

I'm not sure where everyone else who has reviewed this place has been but I was hugely underwhelmed by the bland food and the coffee which was milky and tasteless. The picture is of "Eggs on Toast" which whilst very cheap at £3.50ish (I added the hashbrown for an extra £1.50) I think all would agree it's a pretty poor effort even at that price.I'm told the cafe has recently been refurbished but the food clearly hasn't had an upgrade. I could see other meals arriving at tables nearby that looked much larger than mine but equally unappealing. With a city of great little cafes to try I'd give this one a miss.

Breakfast menu was great and food was excellent, however, their roast dinner left a lot to be desired. Chicken was really dry, Yorkshire puddings were from Aunt Bessie, and the veg was all frozen. Toilets were clean and tidy, but service was a little on the slow side (although we went on a Saturday afternoon).
