Impressed! That’s the first word that comes to mind. From the greeting, to the decor and eventually the food. Just impressive. When I saw it was in the stadium, I hesitated for you see, it was a special occasion if you catch my drift 😉. Needless to say, all were pleased and well fed by the time the night was through.I recommend the mussels, monkfish and sticky toffee pudding. And may I suggest you dress to impress.Thank me later.

I have always been a fan of Delias cookery books so I was really looking forward to the meal at her restaurant. The room is light and airy, staff are attentive and the food was acceptable. I had duck which was very tender but the skin was soft and fatty rather than crispy, and I think a little jus was needed, the fish souffle was tasty and the ginger ice cream was creamy. However this food was certainly not outstanding. We also waited for an hour from entering the restaurant until receiving any food and then only after complaining. There seems to be more people in charge than serving? All staff however were very polite and apologetic. We were given a free after dinner drink to make up for our long wait. The following night we ate at the Cotes Brasserie(chain) in the city which was two thirds of the price, much tastier and far more professional in their service.

The service is faultless. Friendly and helpful staff. The best restaurant service I can remember.

I don’t believe that I have had such great service in a restaurant for some years. Staff are friendly, chatty and helpful. Food is cooked perfectly and you feel Delia’s presence. They make sure that this is a restaurant that you will remember even if you’ve only had the very tasty steak and brilliant chips. Some nice touches include inventive nibbles whilst you browse the menu and some petit fours with the coffee.A place of pilgrimage with fine food. Thank you all for a lovely evening.

We could not fault this amazing restaurant. Firstly, the staff were just the best. Whilst we did not catch all of the names, Gabby was delightful, highly professional, personable and a real asset to Delia’s. Additionally Phoebe was superb with excellent knowledge of the wines and aperitifs. The food was faultless with a well balanced menu, the best dining experience we have had for a long time. The restaurant itself is well laid out with good spacing and a great atmosphere. The sommelier was charming and very helpful. The wine was superb, a perfect Sancerre and delicious dessert wine. If you are in the area this place is a must. The value was astonishing, we have paid twice the price for meals half as good. Brilliant.

Went with a group of four. Staff were excellent. I had a great starter (chicken liver pate ) mediocre crispy duck, lovely passion fruit brulee. Duck skin was not crispy. Thanks once again to the brilliant staff.

We had an anniversary meal here last night. It was the first time we had eaten here.I was slightly surprised that there was no à la carte menu as normally we wouldn't eat three courses but it wasn't a problem for us in the endThe service was exceptional and subtle. We appreciated the care and attention shown. No doubt we will return.

Just had a lovely meal here. They regularly change the menu (by the looks of the website once a month). This month was based around a French theme. You can order menu items individually or go for three courses for a set price. It is well worth opting for the three courses. You get to choose 2 side dishes with your main course as well.Staff were all nicely attentive and pleasant to talk to.Live music at just the right volume so you can hear it but can easily hold a conversation.

We have just held a 70th birthday celebration for my Dad at Delia's. From the time we first started planning the event, the manager was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the process of pre-ordering food and birthday cake and the general planning of the evening. The decor was lovely; modern, spotless and smart but also relaxed. It was the perfect environment for a special family occasion. The food was delicious and a good variety on the menu to choose from, so everyone was happy.  But what really made the event successful was the outstanding service. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. When the toddler of our party got tired, they even discretely pushed chairs together and fetched blankets to create a makeshift bed for her to nap on. We will certainly consider Delia's again for future family celebrations.
