Ed's Easy Diner - Norwich in Norwich

We ordered the all day breakfast, what food outlet in their right mind smothers food in pepper without asking or including it on the menu. Don't know where Ed comes from, but I doubt if it's the States, they know how to ensure you "HAVE A NICE DAY".

Get there early for breakfast, or prepare to wait for a seat. Good menu when its all available. We only pop into Norwich now and again, but when we do we like to eat here if we can. Service is ace, worth a tip most times. Give it a try on recommendation.

Visited here with my wife for lunch, she has the BBQ chicken stack, which she was very pleased with and said was amazing, as was my Dirty Deli burger!! Excellent seasoned fries, onion rings and Mac n cheese. Cannot wait to come back next year for our next Christmas shop!

I absolutely love going into the city and having a cheeky lunch at Ed’s Diner. The food is great and the milkshakes are to shout about. The staff are always very professional and polite. 5 stars. Would highly recommend and will always return.

5 minute wait for a table for 2 people which was fine. We ordered our food and drinks as soon as we were seated.Drinks turned up 5 minutes after ordering.A while later I wanted a refill so asked one of the waiters.After 20 minutes it still had not arrived! So I asked again.Food took 55 minutes to arrive. Never waited this long for a meal. I think waiting almost an hour is ridiculous.We were also not told there was almost an hour wait when we were seated , having been told this we would of gone somewhere else.Food was nice (we had a burger , hotdog , sweet potato fries , potato waffles and onion rings)The strawberry milkshake was disappointing, with only a tiny hint of strawberry flavour.

Nice place with super delicious food. We all enjoyed our lunch and would come back again.The waiting time for the main meals are a little long as well as it is pricey.Staff members are nice and friendly, made sure we have nice time and enjoyed our food.Also family, children friendly. Super American style ;)

I was bored so I decided to give myself a treat after a stressful exam.... it was my first time at the diner but I loved it...everything down to their food and friendly staff was unique. Someone always came to check on me to ask if I needed something and ever since my first visit I always get emails about discounts. I am looking forward to visiting again after my exams. It is a very chilled place to be and makes you feel at home. I recommend this diner👌

We had an email for 50% off food on ed's so we thought why not, we'd signed up to ed's loyalty years ago and hadn't been for a while as its a little on the expensive side for what it is. It didn't take long at all for someone to come and take us to our table, the staff were polite and very good with our four year old and interacted with him and help him with his order. We had 2 of there thick shakes, a peanut butter and oreo and the child had a banana milk shake all of which taste fantastic, they use the actual items to flavour them. Obviously we had burgers/hotdogs they are very nice and tasty the buns are crisp enough an not too dry the burgers the same and not dripping with grease or over cookedplus the typical American sausage you can really cook wrong. Good selection of sides and types of chips, plus a variety of burgers to cater to all. They do have other items on the menu other than burgers, incase you don't fancy a burger at an American diner. The whole thing is a lovely snapshot of an era past which you get a taste of being in there with the look and atmosphere/music. Overall I've scored a 4 due to the price and that if you want fries or a side you have to plate up or something so bumps the price up more. Anyway generally good experience and quality food.
