First (and probably last) visit with a friend who'd been raving about the place for a fair while now. We happened to find ourselves in the area together and decided to go for a nice bite to eat.First impression - Quite liked the 50's diner style decor which is pretty much in keeping with a burger joint. The let down was that it looked as if it'd been neglected since the 50's. It just generally looked tired and in need of refreshment. Bins inside the dining area were full and overflowing too, which didn't help create a positive experience.Food ordered and the price was a bit shocking, but expectations high due to my friend's description of the food being outstanding. Service was polite and fairly quick, with the food coming out in around 10 minutes. For the price, I'd have expected a table service pretty much anywhere. After all the expectation, the food was distinctly average. Nothing at all special about the fries. The burger was fine, but again didn't really stand out from any burgers I've had elsewhere at much less cost. The best part was the milkshake. Overall, not worth the money. The reason it is three stars is because of the speed of service and politeness of the staff, otherwise it'd would have been a two.

The absolute best burgers ever, staff here are amazing too which just makes it even better. It was clean and inviting and so quick and as always cooked fresh to order. Norwich five guys is the best one by far!

Food was nice, but the portion size based on what you paid just wasn't justified. For example, ÂŁ10 for a bacon and cheese burger, on its own, for scale, it was the size I'd give to a kid's mealI would give more stars as the taste was good, freshly made, but the price to size ratio is awfully unbalancedIf the fries were included in the price for the burger, it would be more balanced, but you have to pay for fries on top. This is the type of restaurant that you visit once out of curiosity, then once it's off your bucket list, you'll forget it exists

Mediocre service, expensive for an average experience. Cheese burger fresh and tasty, well cooked and good ingredients. Sloppy presentation, very annoying loud music, which spoiled the occasion more than anything, and is the reason I will not return.

Foods good always is in five guys. How ever some of the staff let the rest down. When we was standing there we watched 4 members of staff running around working hard trying yo get orders done from the grill then when ig came to fries and packing its ground to a snails pace.

Jack P, many thanks for the best 5 guys burger I’ve ever had. They’re good anyway but this had a retarded amount of salad and sauce and was the best thing since sliced bread. Hope to see you again soon!

Great food, but the pricing at Five Guys in the UK seems a smidge too high. The key to most of eating and ordering here is to realize that a large order of fries is plenty for a family of 5, they’ll cut burgers and hotdogs in half so you can split them for kids, and you can ask for an extra cup for the shakes so you can split those as well.I’d say £1 cheaper on every menu item would be more appropriate. £3.25 for the regular sized soda for example is a bit much. I don’t know the ins and outs of what their sources are for everything over here versus in the US so maybe that explains the prices based on what the level of quality is for the ingredients.

Always friendly staff at the Norwich branch,. it is ultimately fast food but five guys isn't like the average fast food place. Best smashed burgers, done the way the customer wants with free toppings. Chips and shakes being amazing is the cherry on the top. Its expensive, but its also worth every penny.

Decided to take a visit to Five Guys for a change as it seemed to have mostly positive reviews and wanted a change, unfortunately it really wasn’t great at all. Ordered 2 cheese burgers, small chips and a milkshake and came to £26 which is quite a lot for what you get. Burgers had no flavour whatsoever, the fries were okay, slightly to crispy for me, and the milkshake was okay, just wasn’t worth the £5+, staff seemed relatively friendly but the interior wasn’t amazing either honestly. Don’t bother, stick with your local takeaway for half the price or make your own.

Had lunch here with my kid, it's expensive but nice food. No kids menu (chap on till pointed out they do 'little burgers' but I don't think that's quite the same). The burgers come as a double patty and you can pick as many toppings / sauces as you like, which is a nice novelty. We also got chips, which whilst was expensive was a fair size and did the two of us fine. Milkshakes are also nice, but again they are about ÂŁ5, so you would hope so at that price...!!
