Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - Norwich in Norwich

Honestly, it was a disappointment. It was an expensive version of something you could hash together at McDonald's, trust me that's not something I like to admit. The restaurant was tired looking with toilets that could do with a good scrub. Not the experience we had at Peterborough. Not sure if we will return...

Service is good, but food is horrible. I ordered salad, and come with frozen bites. I do not recommend to order Italian foods

Really lovely waiter greeted us and was fantastic all the way through sadly online orders were priority. Waited 35 minutes for a very mediocre meal cold plates served with cold fries, chicken on pizza was awful!!! Waiter discounted our bill but sadly nothing from management seems like online ordering was more important a bit sad when they should be grateful for ‘bums on seats’ at this time

Friendly staff and lovely Italian/American style food. Portions of a sencible size so we could have desert also. Amomgst the meals photographed we had ceasor salad, ravioli, cookie dough and a lovely chocolate orange torte style cake.

Expected to wait due to staff shortages but served very quickly. Great, friendly service. Food was excellent. Will be back. Thank you.

Was a fan of the new menu, lots of options. Had a burger which was good value for money. Waitress was polite and attentive. Will be back!

Staff where unfriendly and spent more time worrying about sorting out delivery orders rather than people in the restaurant, there wasn't very people it the restaurant but 30 minutes after ordering we had to ask where our food was to have a rude member of staff snap at us it was on the way still another nearly 10 minutes wait. Customer service goes along way if there was going to be such a long delay on our food inform us. This is the only time we have been to a restaurant and not given a tip it's a shame as we enjoy the food but won't be returning to this Frankie & Benny's

Booked a table before the match on Saturday. Due to traffic congestion in the city arrived 25 minutes late, but the manager said when we phoned them that he would hold the table I was very impressed. Food tasty, service prompt and friendly. Would have given 5 stars but the 3 voucher we had excluded the one thing I really fancied and it was priced about the same as what I had

Went along for a meal for my sister's birthday She has learning disabilities and was really looking forward to her outing. We sat down and ordered drinks and once they arrived ordered our meals. My sister asked for lasagne and was told it wasn't available, we asked for a couple of minutes to select something else. After 10 minutes I had to go and find the waitress as she hadn't returned. My sister then asked for a chicken dish. That wasn't available and to cut a long story short nor was the macaroni cheese that I was going to order either.So we decided to leave as by then my sister was quite agitated.We left two untouched hot drinks and a coke that I had had a few sips of. For this we were asked £6.80. After a discussion with the waitress she called the manager who eventually charged us £3.20 for the drinks.He said that they were experiencing delivery problems of which I have every sympathy but to be sat down, given drinks and asked for orders without telling a customer that they haven't a few things on the menu I believe is wrong.Three out of four meals that we asked for were not available. We then went to another restaurant where we had to buy more drinks adding to our bill for the day. I won't be going back and I wouldn't now have been writing this review if we had have been treated differently. What is the cost of two cups of tea and a coke to a business like this when they knew they were experiencing problems.

After being seriously let down by another establishment, we came here and thank God we did! Tami our waitress was attentive and regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay. The good was great and Phil the deputy manager was superb, he made time to come and have a chat with us and offered absolutely 1st class customer service! Would 100% recommend and if ever in the area again will be sure to visit again! Well done F&B Norwich you absolutely smashed it on every level!
