Giggling Squid Norwich in Norwich

Me and my mum had a spontaneous dinner at the Giggling Squid after an event, and the whole experience was absolutely amazing.I've never been before and it definitely won't be my last. Every detail from the brilliant service, to the ambiance, to the flavourful food just made it all a lovely way to finish up the day.🤩😃

Went here for Saturday lunch, the food was delicious, the staff were very quick and friendly. The lunch menu looked really good but as we were not eating that evening opted for the full menu. We will be coming back again.

Here is a picture from the lovely starter we had.Sweet Jicarma salad and chicken satay, and we also had a glass of pink coconut water.For main, we had melting beef with Roti and a dish with noodles and sea food (Tom Yum Noodle soup)The waitress "Won" was very sweet and friendly.I am going again this Thursday to eat more 😋

First experience eating at giggling squid after coming highly recommend from a close friend they did not disappoint. The service was to a high standard, and the delivery of the food was quite prompt. The atmosphere was really nice and as we went for lunch was not crowded. Unto the food... Amazing original Thai flavours, you have to try the fried squid probably the best squid I've had hands down. Would definitely visit again but great value for money for a quality meal.

Came 29.12.2021 for my birthday lunch. I did book in advance as was worried about it being busy during the Christmas period.Beautiful Grade II listed building, lovely stained glass. Upstairs had a good view from the bay windows.Good selection on menu some favs and some - also good choice on the children's menu 2 small dishes for £5.99. The children's menu also has games on to keep children busy.Was very impressed with this restaurant and would definitely recommend and return. Inexpensive, very hard-working staff (2 down today), allergies/dietary requirements asked about. Toilets are upstairs and very clean. Would say that the tables near the bar are slightly cramped and can hear the next table's conversations!

Absolutely delicious restaurant. I went here with a friend, and tried their tapas dishes and a couple of cocktails. I found the staff to be very friendly, and the place has a lovely vibe. It’s relatively reasonably priced, and I didn’t feel like there was too much or too little food. My only criticism is that they add a service charge at the end, which is quite unusual outside of London. Apart from that it was great.

Giggling squid is one of those exceptional chain restaurants which manages to serve authentic food with great service. Never been disappointed and the management does take criticism positively. Ample space, modern decor, great service and comfort authentic food, that’s all I look for in a restaurant. Highly recommend this place!

Friendly and attentive staff. Good decor. Ample seating areas and fast service. Ok portion sizes and tasty food. Fancy drinks. Washrooms could be tidier. Would recommend. More fusion Thai than traditional.
