Fantastic food and service. I’ve been going here for years when it was called the Food Shack. One of the best restaurants in Norwich!

Thank you for having us! It was such an easy going, delicious experience. I had wild boar gulash w dumplings & fried potato, and my partner had smoked goulash with egg barley. Both well executed. Pepper heaven! Red wine- Bolyki Bulls Blood and Staropramen pilsner were perfect compliments to our dishes. Service was spot on, peasant, comfortably relaxed and very well timed. Thanks again!

We hired the whole restaurant out for a post Xmas staff party. Preordered our meals, a very easy process! Amazing food, I had the lamb goulash with rice, really tasty! Service was amazing, allowed us to play music and play games. A really good place to hire out for large parties! Would definitely recommend πŸ‘

It's been 27 years since I've eaten Hungarian food and I'm delighted that I stumbled across this restaurant. Delicious food, and the portions are huge! The wild boar goulash was absolutely fantastic.

When you can't go to Hungary for delicious food then this is the right place to be.😍 Central location. Nice staff and fast service. Good portion from my point of view. Amazing crepes!😍Update 2021: still amazing food 😍

I always like to try food from different countries and I never tried Hungarian food before. Since we cannot travel now with all this pandemic I was pleased to find this nice small cosy restaurant. The food is delicious and very filling. I would definitely visit again.Update: The food is still amazing.

In Norwich this weekend and saw Goulash House online. Ordered a takeaway and it was amazing, friendly & helpful service. I'd recommend the lamb goulash, it was tender & mouth watering. The restaurant is lovely with nice music giving an inviting atmosphere. Brilliant.

We both had the traditional Goulash, the meat was very tender ( only needed a fork ) and the flavour was great. We both also had the Hungarian dumplings which are a lot smaller and not quite as light as English dumplings. You get a good portion of each and we could not finish all the dumplings. I had a "Chestnut puree and whipped cream" desert. It seemed to be a glass of whipped cream with two layers of finely shredded chestnut - interesting. Clean and tidy restaurant, helpful attentive staff and the background music was not loud.

I had Gourdon blue with roasted potatoes (to be honest it looked more boiled than roasted also the chicken wasn't prepared how it should) my partner had Goulash with dumpling which was delicious I can say, the dessert Chesnut puree with wiped cream was very tasty.
