Ji The Chicken Shop in Norwich

I went here on my lunch break and wasn't impressed. The pad Thai was very plain with a few peanuts sprinkled on top, and it took around 30 minutes to receive my order, which meant I had to eat it whilst walking briskly back to work to avoid being late. Not really recommended, especially if you're pushed for time.

Had the volcanic cheesy chicken was pretty good

Surprisingly tasty food here with decent pricing. Staff communication sometimes a little bit difficult but overall great exprience

The tea was nice but the pad thai box was awful. Not even sure it was pad thai as it tasted so bland. And the chicken inside the pad thai had the texture of chunks of fat. A really unappealing meal which was a let down.

Adequate, good place to go and grab something to eat on the fly. Factory-like service.When I received my order, I had to tell them that actually, I'd ordered the crispy squid, not chicken strips. Nice enough chicken strips, though I would have liked to have had the squid.When I say "factory-like service," what I mean is that I felt like I was on a conveyor belt of customers, even though there weren't many in the queue. Not really a personal welcome, so I can't say I was impressed. If I'd not found the food to be nice enough, I'd have to go with a savage two stars...Would I go again? Probably only if I was meeting friends there. There are other choices I would have preferred.

Stumbled on the shop at lunch time and had a nice lunch. Cook time was just right and the meal tasted nice, too. Wish they had more variety, but for an independent brand, they did good!

Was good. Seems to have deteriorated in both quality of the tea and customer service. Had three consecutive orders gone wrong. Unfortunately the person taking the order on all three occasions has very poor communication skills and on bringing it up with the next person on my next visit, they had an internal discussion in their own language(which I couldn't understand) and finally declared "it's not their problem". Sad state of affairs.Best piece of advice is, bubble tea is good enough, just rigourously check your order before finalising and after receiving as they have serious quality issues. 3 stars because the tea is good on occasion.

I popped into the Norwich branch today having been enticed in by pictures of their box meals. I asked if they did gluten free, for example are the noodles gluten free. She looked confused, then asked me in broken English if I'd ordered. I am a celiac so won't return here. But isn't it a legal requirement to provide food analysis information which presupposes that someone there should understand basic English. There is also no such information on the website

Didn't expected I can find such a perfect bubble tea in a fried chicken shop. (much more better than Chatime.). We had Matcha Milk Tea, Hazelnut Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea and Classic Milk Tea. The taste is so authentic and the service is quite fast. The owner is warm and friendly by recommended us the best toping for our milk tea. Their crispy fried chicken (30cm) is also worth to try. 👍👍👍👍👍 Strong recommended.
