Maid Marion Pub in Norwich

So we had a meal 3 weeks ago, and to say it was poor was an understatement but even though we could of asked for a refund we decided to go again! Tonight was absolutely amazing, the food was outstanding and the staff went above, especially our waitress Charlotte!! Thank you for a lovely evening!!We will definitely come back!!!

We have eaten here regularly since the reopening and have been impressed with the quality of food and price! We regularly join the pub quiz which we think is a great weekly event! Always good service and have especially appreciated the service we have received from jodene - her Long Island iced teas are some of the best I’ve tried! We will be in again soon no doubt

What a brilliant refurb! Looks superb. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and def. value for money. The staff were polite and very helpful. They were able to recommend a couple of places to visit in between my meetings. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Norwich.

Wow! Had an amazing afternoon for my mothers birthday, the food was delicious, the staff were so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was just wonderful! Will be defiantly be back!

Came in again after a long time as it’s now changed hands, the food was really good, you have your basic pub grub but there is also “an extra special” section. My favourite tho was the lobster & seafood cocktail. The staff were really friendly too especially Andrew. We will definitely be back, thanks guys

We had chicken terrine for starters which was delicious and it came with warm bread a dressed salad and an excellent chutney. For mains we had lamb shank with lovely creamy mash and very good veg and pork belly with extremely tasty bubble and squeak and crackling, both were good portions and we enjoyed them immensely. The staff were helpful and attentive and we enjoyed the whole experience so will definitely go again soon and will be recommending to friends.

During the week, they offer a set menu. It was 11.99 for a dish plus a dessert/app. The chicken burger was good and the chips were serviceable! I enjoyed the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, but two of the dessert options weren't available (both of which I wanted first!). The aesthetic was interesting and the service was good!.

Lovely refurbishment. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Burgers to die for, beef and mushrooms pie, light fluffy pastry. Crumble and custard hot and good portions. Bread and butter pudding fingers amazing. Highly recommended, definitely be back again soon.£11:99 2 course option or £14:99 3 course option.Great value for money.

I would have given 5☆ as the food was absolutely fantastic but for the fact my husband ordered the Gammon and it stated it was served with extras including onion rings, when it arrived everything was on the plate but the onion rings were missing, I pointed this out to the waitress and she came back and said onion rings were an extra that we hadn't paid for, i then pointed out to her on the menu they were included, she then came back again and said sorry yes they were included and she would bring them as soon as possible. We all finished our meals and even ordered dessert which again was very good and 5☆..but where the elusive onion rings went is a mystery...I would love to come back as we all enjoyed the food immensely but my husband is still complaining about his missing onion rings. 😂
