Mr Mangal in Norwich

The food was amazing but the service massively let it down. It took 1hour and 45 minutes to get our mains, had to ask the staff, they clearly lost our ticket. We didn’t even get any money off our bill but can’t fault the food. I won’t be dining in again.

Best restaurant and food in Norwich. The food is amazing and beautifully cooked. Staff are welcoming, take pride in table presentation, never make you wait and are very friendly. They will also celebrate your birthday with a lovely touch.

I had an excellent meal at Mr Mangal recently with my daughter. The food was delicious and the service was very good indeed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

The food here was very tasty and the customer service was great too. The overall ambience was alright, it was a little tight for space, but fortunately for us it was a quiet evening.We ordered the Mr Mangal Izgara and a Mixed Grill. This was enough to feed 4 people. The meat was nice, tender and very flavoursome!Side note; You must must try the Turkish tea and Baklava, it's delicious and was great at the end of the meal. Comes with three peices of Baklava and a choice of ice cream or whipped cream.

Wow I have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Very clean, good ambiance, friendly staff, and most important.. delicious melt in your mouth food. I could not believe the level of flavors. The amount of food for £ is impressive. We shared the lamb & chicken dish. The bread is spectacular. Already cannot wait until we return!

The King Prawn Starter is absolutely delicious, followed by the Mix Grill for one, well cooked and sauces are very nice, they taste home made, it’s a family run business and it shows that they care about there customers. Very good value for what you pay. Excellent

5+⭐food is so delicious, servise brilliant, staff very care and kind, been made sure are we have everything we need.. Me and my beloved leave this place with full tummies :))) portions is big and prices is reasonable:)) thank you Mr Mangal for warm welcome,, we definitely will be back:))

Mr. Mangal is by far the best Turkish restaurant in Norwich now, first time I tried it was ok but I still rated Mediterranean above it.However, since I’ve been back there several times and every time it’s been perfect, I put the first time experience down to then opening brand new and struggling and I guess most new restaurants take a bit to settle down so it’s always better to give new places a second chance and I’m glad I did.Nowadays sometimes I drop by just for bread and hummus if I need a quick snack or when the wife fancies a meal out this is perfect, also child friendly.The owner Husein is the chef and a very friendly guy, highly recommend this place.
