Friendly welcome and a comfortable environment. Decent range of beers at realistic prices, with some tempting bottles and cans as well. Not keen on allowing seating that blocks the view of the available beers (fortunately mostly a thing of the past), but the pub has the beer list on Untappd so that sufficed me. Didn't have food, but looked like some interesting options

Densely packed with plenty of nooks and crannies, might be a little tight in places.Good selection of spirits specifically and the staff were very attentive (we were seen to and offered table service as we entered, but we opted for bar service). The real reason to visit is the waterside balcony located downstairs. An eclectic layout gives the place charm and one can enjoy watching the sunset on the river whilst sipping away alone or with friends.

I read a couple of reviews for this place on looking for somewhere to eat and I have to admit that I have had a couple of pints already after a long day working away from home, however, I do believe I am the happiest and most satisfied I have been in a long time. The establishment is welcoming and very comfortable when first entering, there is a great choice of beers and particularly ales, I had a couple of Woodford Wheery ales 3.8% (very tasty). The menu is simple but if you like a burger, wow the burgers are amazing! I had the fiery burger, thinking that they are never as spicy as they claim, but wow I got a nice burn on the lips from the first bite, however, this did not increase to 'oh my god what have I done!', instead I was amazed by a delicious flavour profile and a very satisfying feeling.I would highly recommend this and when I am next in the area I will definitely be back for more, thanks guys excellent!

You will not find a more efficiently run place in Norwich (and there is some very stiff competition). The range of ale is excellent with 4 house and 3 guest plus an extensive range of kegs. The pub itself is very well appointed and it's in an absolute gem of a location adjacent to Fie Bridge with a lovely jetty and small terrace garden by the river. An absolute must.

We went around lunch time and ordered some burgers. DELICIOUS! I highly recommend any burger on the menu. You might get a little messy. Luckily, they have a nice and clean bathroom located downstairs to clean up in.I faulted a star for the staff. Upon entering the establishment, a woman at the bar just smiled and said “hi”. I was a little lost since there were reservation notes on almost every table. I asked if we just pick any table to sit at and she said yes or you can order at the bar and sit. So I stood at the bar and asked for a menu, the same woman said I needed to sit at a table in order to see the menu.. then go back to the bar to order. We found a cute table near a window view of the river. Once we got the menu’s, I asked “so are you a waitress or do we need to order at the bar and she looked confused and said order with me (the waitress)… okay.It would have been much better to have been greeted and told directly “choose any table with no reservation on it or a time that is later and then someone will come to serve you.” Instead I was left scrambling to understand how to order anything! HahaAlso, you must pay for any additional sauces like ketchup, mayonnaise, etc for your chips (50p). I thought that was a little ridiculous just for something to dip some chips in casually. I’ve never seen that before at a sit down restaurant.Anyways, the joint is really clean and cute with a wonderful view and delicious food. I will be back!

Had loaded fries and sampled the flights of local ales, superb. Excellent value and we escaped the rain during the thunder and lightning storm. Very pleasant staff and great atmosphere as locals arrived.

Really decent food. Reasonably priced. I just wish they had a proper drinks menu available as it's table service. Would have made ordering more drinks easier.

i came here for a fathers’ day meal with my family, we’ve been wanting to go here for a while, and we don’t know why we didn’t come sooner! the staff were so lovely and polite, the service was fast, our food was cooked to perfection in brilliant portions, the quality of food for price is fabulous, the atmosphere of the place was lovely to just sit and have a meal in, and the view was just the cherry on top! i ordered the ‘temple of santana’ burger & it was simply mouth drooling 🤤

Fantastic pub with good mix of locals and visitors, staff are welcoming. Have been here a few times but this time came without a reservation and they still managed to squeeze us in for a couple which was really appreciated. Large range of cask real ales plus Cornish Rattler cider on draft which is rare (try it it's amazing cider)Always a good visit when in Norwich.
