Riverbank Chinese Buffet in Norwich

Gone totally downhill. A lot of food containers empty. No duck, no tepannyaki, no mussels, no crab claws, no seaweed no Mr Whippy ice cream, no prawn toast. There were other things but it looked stale and most of the food was not hot. They claimed to be short of staff, well pay more. Could not get duck, rubbish my local Chinese takeout can. Poor pudding selection too.

We come here quiet regularly. It is a really nice place. Always clean and tidy, plenty of choices. Especially in the evening although it does cost more than during the day but definitely worth it. The tepanyaki bar is my favourite with the fresh cooked king prawns and steak. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Would recommend

The evening selection is far better then the day time but this is reflected in price. The food is fresh, topped up regularly and overall of good buffet quality. The staff seem to be less invasive at the table then the once were, drink prices still too high imo.

The food that was available was nice but you will be disappointed for choice no sesame seed toast for example the proprietor said to expensive only 5 deserts available again i say the food that was available was nice but i was sold on trying for the menu. and the menu was not what was on offer. i have been to other buffet restaurants and they haven't drawn back on the menu and i think it reflects they were a lot busier. was looking for a place to have friends to a birthday party have to say i'm still looking.

First time visit, never again. Glad I went lunch time as I would have something more to complain at the price of the evening meal. My wife's first impressions was that we had walked into a Bingo Hall. Food was barely warm and hardly any choice. Worst chinese meal ever had.

Booked a table today at the all you can eat Chinese riverside… and I have to say we will not be returning… there is 32 dishes with 8 of them “not in stock” & not being served… labelled “not in use” or out of stock!” Most of the food trays where practically empty, they ran out of plates for most of the time we was there with people just sitting at their table waiting for the plates to be replaced, none of the plates on our table was collected, and they had a small selection of desserts, the ice cream machine was broken, they had run out of strawberry ice cream, there was hardly any fruit available, no cakes, just a frozen Eton mess cake, no sweet, my partner went to complain but the staff had no words for us? We had to pay full price of £68 for two adults & two children, we will be not be returning & are very disappointed in there services, the toilets are broken with yellow tape over one sink!! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I've been here a few times now with several family members and really enjoyed it. Would be nice if they did the unlimited soft drinks too like other restaurants are now doing.

We feel very sad to say a place we have been going to for over 15 years has gone downhill so badly I barely recognise it .we won't be going back it's such a shame..it is now a really basic Chinese buffet with hardly any options every time we go they offer less and less.. also good hygiene levels were very worrying prawns left Luke warm not replaced the whole 2 hours we were there it was conjealed and saw no one replacing main dishes or doing temperature checks we felt worried to feed our children and ourselves in sse we got I'll.This place used to be lovely ....lots of choiceFresh teppanyaki station with noodles fresh stir fry seafood steaks meats was very good quality.The website is false advertising also as states so many dishes wl that they now don't serve I've had better 4 pound buffets than what they now serve here in evening it's all

Great place and varieties. Definitely recommend and will go again. Recommend their pork and beef. Loved them. 😍 And their button mushrooms.

Terrible , not been here in a couple of years and it's a shadow of its former self . Don't think I spotted one thing there that's home cooked just all bought in premade frozen rubbish , like a kind of chineese Macdonald's , very poor quality food , seemed like it had been our for hours , were both big eaters and both left an entire plate didt go for seconds , deserts all cheap bought in rubbish from macro , had empty glasses and mains plates and soup plates all left on our table full whole we tried desert nothing cleared , massive waste of money don't waste your time , literally one of the worst places I've ever eaten in , Expensive , frozen food at best .
