I was there on a friday night. It can get very crowded and if you're in the 25+ age group, be prepared to see many younger people. Not necessarily a bad thing but definitely louder. We went downstairs to be able to talk without yeling. Nice place though.

Very efficient service, friendly staff. Lots of menu options. Food was OK quality for the price.

·

Staff willing to interact with customers which is a failing in a lot of Weather spoons. Food fine.

·

Marvellous place to stay right in the centre of the city Good amount of seating great choice of drinks and food Fantastic atmosphere good for groups families and intimate dining Well recommended

·

A great place for a cheap meal with the family.Service was a little bit slow but that can't be blamed on them (We were eating at lunch time after all).Great accessibility for a family member who may not be able to climb the steep stairs upstairs as well

Reasonable prices for city centre, pot luck on real ales but food really is pretty good value. Certainly ìmproved since my last visit. As far as wetherspoons go, these r 1 of the best. My only criticism is that the upstairs dining area is quite claustrophobic but you can eat your meal on 1 of the lower floors. Summer time will be packed here. CHEERS 🍻

Cosy surroundings. Generous food portions, tasty and well priced. Hot drinks also get free refills. Nice relaxing time had with family. Totally recommend.

lovely staff, classic atmosphere however was greatly disappointed at the undercarriage of my panini being so … well done?

Food is ok and it is cheap. Its on my root to work so convenient. Usually no problems, but this morning the on duty bar person was unfriendly with an " I'm doing you a favour just by being here" attitude.

Visited on a Saturday night. VERY busy and extremely NOISY! Ordered drinks and food at our table from the 'Wetherspoons' easy to use convenient app. Service was pretty quick, alcoholic drinks deals on offer, variety of food choices. Scampi arrived hot, was appetising and affordable (£8ish)with drink included. Hard to maintain social distance due to the large capacity intake but covid measures were in place. Not a bad overall experience if you don't mind SHOUTING to your mates!
